Job summary

Fixed term contract (maternity leave cover) until approximately 30.06.2023

(Main offices are Hamburg, London, Stockholm, Paris, Oslo)

About this role:

This role is responsible for Commercial Management in the region and is directly accountable for delivering the supply envelope strategies for this geography. You will secure advantaged supply and logistics contracts and you will be accountable for the optimization of pricing, volumes, and working capital. Together with our Account Managers you play a vital part in the process of offering aviation fuel to all the airlines of the world.

Your tasks:

  • Accountable for core marketing gross profit, volumes, working capital and proactive location network optimisation in line with the supply envelope strategies and location plans
  • Interact with global network to actively manage airline tender activities setting prices, volumes and overall offer from location perspective
  • Fully understand and challenge supply chain costs and support negotiations in cooperation with Trading & Shipping and Midstream.
  • Overview supply pricing exposure to cover associated risks and monetise options. Provide pricing framework to General Aviation account managers to manage pricing for customers
  • Work with Account Manager network and operations to provide accurate forecasting for the region
  • Work with Process Excellence and Operations teams to ensure supply chains and associated costs are up to date in our systems
  • Coordinate emergency responses associated with supply issues
You’ll succeed because:
  • You have a commercial mindset, ideally developed across a range of markets in business environments such as Aviation, Refining, Supply, Logistics, Trading or Strategy
  • You have experience & knowledge of the Aviation Industry
  • You have strong leadership and team working skills
  • You have excellent analytical capability and IT skills (Power BI, pivot table in Excel)
  • You are fluent in English (other local languages are a plus)
