Job summary


Job Purpose
This role sits in the Europe Convenience Offer Development team and works alongside the European market teams to enable the Convenience Strategy. The primary purpose of the role is:
1/ To work with the Customer Value Proposition & Experience Global team to define and implement convenience offers for future Electric vehicle (EV) formats across Europe and develop new innovative convenience solutions for customers, in alignment with the global convenience strategy.
2/ To support the European Convenience Offer Development team with portfolio management and strategic analysis to ensure there is a clear commercially viable roadmap as our offers transition from traditional fuels to EV

Key Accountabilities - Offer Development (c.80% of the role):
•Work with the Customer Value Proposition & Experience Global team to define future convenience offers and solutions for Europe, with an initial focus on innovative medium to longer term solutions for EV Hubs (e.g. “unmanned convenience”, omnichannel solutions, new services, etc.)
•Work with market teams and various functional teams to project manage the implementation of future offers in EV Hubs, from idea through to testing (e.g. Operational excellence IT, People and Culture, Procurement, etc.)
•Programme manage multiple initiatives in parallel, setting up and managing squads to ensure cross-functional input from business owners. Securing resource where required
•Develop clear business cases for initial investment for concept testing, based on rigorous insight and analysis
•Make recommendations for the rollout of offers based on customer feedback, commercial and operational viability.
•Ensure all projects or programmes include a thorough post-implementation review
•Develop clear guidelines and set up the infrastructure for markets teams to be able to scale offers.

Portfolio Management & Strategic Analysis (c.20% of the role):
•Own the European convenience offer development portfolio and roadmap, ensuring priorities and sequencing are clear across all European markets, connecting the EV and traditional fuel portfolios
•Ensure all offer development in Europe is aligned to the Global Convenience Strategy and updates are fed into the Global Convenience Forum owned by P&I Customer Value Proposition & experience
•Ensure there is a clear pipeline of ideas and opportunities
•Support the Convenience Offer Development (Europe) Team with strategic and commercial analysis to ensure the offers we develop are commercially viable
•Support with senior stakeholder and wider business engagement and communication

Decision Rights
This role reports in the Senior Convenience Offer Manager and will have input on developing new customer offers for each country and cluster

•Degree level education a preference but not essential if relevant experience
•Programme Management experience and qualifications a preference

•Experience working in a Retail or FMCG business essential
•Offer Development experience essential
•Experience managing cross-functional teams essential
•Commercial and/or business case development experience in a trading environment essential
•Programme management experience essential
•Operational excellence experience desirable
•Experience working in an innovation team or role desirable
