Grade H - Responsible for delivering relevant analysis and modelling to provide commercial insight, utilising relationships to stay up to date with internal developments in statistical techniques, whilst identifying process improvements and applying insights from the external environment.

In 2020, we announced an exciting new strategy, reimagining bp from an integrated oil company to an integrated energy company. Identified as one of the integrator business groups, Trading and Shipping (T&S) will play a key role in helping bp transform and deliver on its ambitions by linking businesses across the energy value chains. T&S is bp's face to the traded markets in oil, gas, power, bio, low-carbon and finance.
The Market Development and Innovation (MDI) team was crafted to be the integrator within T&S, driving and implementing the strategic priorities. Our team consists of specialists in Strategy, Data, Product Innovation (technology), Portfolio Management and Modernisation.
As we focus on the future of T&S, we know data is an integral part of our business model. It helps us to drive pricing, operational efficiency, and new market opportunities. We are cultivating data as an asset and looking to monetize it in new ways. This is where you step in!

The Data Monetization Specialist will help us drive commercial value from our data in a safe and secure manner. This new role will work alongside the T&S commercial and innovation teams.
