Data Quality Analyst (Maternity cover)

In this role You will:
  • Provide guidance and support on provisioning non-Finance data in the ADL required to meet Finance use cases.
  • Coordinate regional data SMEs network and communications.
  • Manage the data quality assurance processes for Finance PPM data in the ADL including communications and resolution of any data quality related issues.
  • Manage the relationship with I&E teams responsible for data pipelines.
  • Drive an open data culture within the domain to minimize silo thinking.
  • Apply data classification for internal sharing and integrating data.
  • Support effective deployment of Agile ways of working within Finance PPM Digital Transformation team business prioritisation and resource utilization
  • Support and promote effective collaboration with Finance PPM teams, I&E and GBS including deployment of digital tools and ways of working. Manage PPM Data sustain workstreams within the overall framework of the PPM Information Model to ensure they are delivered within timelines, budgets and align with the wider PPM requirements.
We have the following requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or recognized accounting qualification.
  • Strong business and regulatory understanding, broad finance technical knowledge and expertise in data concepts to identify value, balance risk, prioritize and drive strategy and initiatives across the data life cycle to create business value and impact.
  • 5-7 years demonstrated experience of designing, building and operating the data (e.g. SAP GFT) platform for a significant business segment including concepts, standards, practices, tools and technologies across the data lifecycle.
  • Proficiency with MS Suite of applications, advanced excel, Power BI and an understanding of SQL is beneficial.
  • Strong problem solving, trouble shooting and analytical skills and ability to get to the root cause.
  • Experience in supporting initiatives that drive integration, quality improvement, standards and compliance and/or a culture of valuing data as an asset. Experience of finance data structures and attributes including Upstream GFT (PRO and WRO), PMI and FBW
  • Knowledge of SAP / SAP implementation experience
  • Understanding of business transformation projects, including data and process change activities
