Job summary

Responsible for supporting products/offers for a specific market, including delivering new offers, and supporting implementation of major new offer development projects.

Key Accountabilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Lead the delivery of EV pilot project including, but not limited to Ultra Fast Charging, Energy Storage System development, OEM innovative project execution through EV charging site preparation, feasibility assessment, procurement, installation, construction and go live at key locations
  • Support product electrification roadmap (e.g. battery swap, EV charging etc.) for market entries, and deliver the committed end-to-end products and solutions to ensure business strategy is met
  • Create a standard execution model for deployment across site appraisal, network planning, procurement, installation, construction and commissioning/go-live.
  • Lead the creation and own the EV roll out plan across the region.
  • Develop annual capex spending budget plan and resourcing priorities.
EV Pilot Project Delivery
  • Support Product Manager with EV pilot project from IDEA creation to Launch - while managing the interface with key suppliers and installation contractors to deliver a great product in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Lead performance management and reporting of near-term progress against long term targets.
  • Own the EV risk management process across the region.
  • Coordinate key project management process to maintain the EV roll out in an efficient and control manner.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with other bp businesses and ensure lessons learned are shared.
  • Contribute to the development of annual plans, budgets and support commercial input into the yearly EFM requests to support the roll out of the programme.
  • Identify balance between network expansion at pace and quality of control, incl. meeting with internal investment framework.
  • Drive for both organic and inorganic growth opportunities accelerate pace of delivery.
  • Lead internal project approval process, ensure proper functional assurance and alignment with key stakeholders.
Partnership Development & Management
  • Hunt for major land and other resources partnership
  • Managing potential conflicts both within team or with external partnership
Core Team Capabilities Development
  • Line up supporting engineering and delivery resources to deliver annual site targets
  • Coach other team members to enhance overall team knowledge in asset development
  • Share best practice from other competitors
  • Strengthen employee alignment, performance and engagement, culture and leadership

Job Holder Requirements
  • Bachelor degree with Master preferred.
Technical Capability/Subject Matter Expertise
  • Breadth and depth in Automotive Industry and project management to provide professional advice and act as a coach to others
  • Solid knowledge for Lithium battery technology and energy storage system Supply Chain.
  • Rich experience in running innovative advanced technology projects when new product or new facility launch
  • Ability to effectively partner with other team members, cross-functional team, peers and even successfully influence senior management ,
  • Strategic and analytical thinking – comfortable using analytics to identify market movement, competitiveness and influence decision making to help refining internal strategy
  • Outstanding project management skills to run a pipeline of project to meet time schedule
  • Proven and successful experience in adopting Agile practices and operating Scrum framework
  • Fluent in oral and written English, experienced in program management in transnational enterprise, soak in global multiple -culture environment.
Leadership & EQ Capability
  • Ability to lead and manage complicated project delivery by managing both internal and external interfaces
  • Professional experience in engineering and project management delivery
  • Direct experience of industry standards in the EV space
  • Continually enhancing team capability in enhancing joint team performance
  • Out-of-box thinking and be able to challenge the system by demonstrating the thinking and value of it
  • A good communicator that can coordinate and integrate different resources
