Job summary

This role is responsible for supporting the GFT (Global Finance Template) Deployment projects across Project management, Process and Data Deliverables. The Junior Project Analyst role will provide support with deliverables across the various streams of GFT Project Deployment.

GFT Junior Project Analyst


In this role you will:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Global Financial Template (GFT) of bp
  • Apply agile working approach
  • Assist the preparation, execution and outcomes of planning and design discussions
  • Monitor execution of GFT Deployment projects to ensure they are delivered within timelines, budgets and align with the wider Segment requirements
  • Produce project deliverables and ensure timely completion of documentation
  • Work with Project Manager, Project Data Lead and Subject Matter Experts
  • Support business owners and overall end-users, with Project execution related queries, both by assisting them directly and/or mediating support from other parties
  • Support the planning and coordination of User Testing activity working effectively with other project members and relevant SMEs to address any issues encountered
  • Support in process documentation for new processes where required covering both systems based activity and any required manual processes required for the effective use of GFT
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders in order to support GFT delivery
  • Analyze and explore standardization and process improvement opportunities


In this role we have the following requirements:
  • Finance / Business Degree
  • Professional Project Management Qualification is an advantage
  • 2+ years of finance experience
  • Knowledge or previous experience in project management and implementing process including continuous improvement
  • Fluency in English
  • Understanding of business transformation projects, including data and process change activities
  • Strong cultural awareness
  • Strong analytical skills, attentive to details and able to learn quickly
  • Ability of solving problems on their own and working on complex issues
  • Willing to learn new systems and processes
  • Be a self-starter who is able to make decisions and progress initiatives in an environment where information may be limited and circumstances change
  • Ability to manage conflicting tasks while delivering high quality results to tight deadlines
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, team player
