Job summary

Would you like to be part of a diverse team working to identify early-stage disrupting technology and new business practices within the Electric Vehicle charging business.
The development of our smart charging hardware and digital platform roadmap combined with energy management solutions is a foundation to provide unique value propositions to B2B fleet and B2C home, both retaining and attracting new customers.
Who will you work with?
The Global New Charging Solution Specialist will work closely with the Energy Management Manager, the Product Managers team in the central electrification hub and with the operating businesses globally. The role will be supported by the electrification hub engineering group and will also work closely with the customer value proposition and relevant digital development experts.

Key goals and accountabilities

  • Evaluate and develop the product strategy for new charging solutions
  • Lead bespoke POC (proof of Concepts) to prove the economic and technical feasibility of new products and solutions
  • Identify the most relevant Business Model in each use cases: On-The-GO, Home, Fleet, Destination.
  • Support the Product Managers defining the product roadmap.
  • Participate or motivate M&A or Ventures deals
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of relevant industry trends, competitors, companies and technology in order to ensure a product portfolio winning proposition along time and along markets
  • Be key tag for the new business development along time when referring to discovery processes in EV charging.
  • Support the new business discovery processes.
  • Support the FM&S Electrification discovery processes yearly budget process
  • Conduct tecno-economic valuations for the deployment of new charging technologies and solutions.
  • Assess of new solutions’ value (materiality, strategic fit, distinctiveness, deliverability, scalability) and build relevant financial models and investment memorandums.
What we need from you
  • University degree in computer science, engineering or comparable education.
  • MBA or equivalent
  • Certifications in agile and product management is welcome. Preferred: PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner), PMI-ACP, is also welcome
  • 5+ years professional experience as a manager in a technology / consulting focused business with strong commercial foresight and attention to details
  • 2+ years professional experience within electrification field with deep technical understanding of the Electrification value chain, including Hardware and Software as well as key digital enablers such as CPO-eMSP, e-roaming, IoT platforms among others.
  • Adeptness from the big picture through the details. Balance structured/holistic thinking with fast moving and pragmatic execution
  • Self-starter mentality with proven ability to lead multi-functional teams (internal-external) through influence and excellent interpersonal skills
  • A history of collaboration and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate workload
  • Proven track record of performing in fast moving businesses, operating with tight financial resources and meeting challenging deadlines
  • Positive personality, with energetic leadership style and strong resilience
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, process efficiency and people empowerment
