Job summary

Role Synopsis
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting individual with a growth mindset who enjoys a dynamic work environment. You will work with within our Midstream Business Unit supporting operations in the Eagle Ford and Permian assets.

Key Accountabilities

  • Performs new, in-service and repair inspections of pressure vessels, tanks and piping in accordance with Texas Rules, American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) Code, and American Petroleum Institute (API) Standards as well as company procedures, standards and specifications. Autonomously manages routine inspections and provides contractor oversight as needed.
  • Communicates the results of inspections to management.
  • Analyzes and documents inspection results using the site’s inspection data management system, and maintains the unit inspection schedule, inspection plan as well as supporting drawings, files and calculations.
  • Coordinates supplemental inspection efforts from contract inspection services. Reviews supplemental inspection results to ensure recommendations are consistent with expectations.
  • Provides technical support to Engineering, Maintenance and Operations on code requirements for repairs and inspection of piping and pressure vessels.
  • Recommends appropriate NDE technique to provide meaningful inspection information/data.
  • Participate in investigations and RCFAs for erosion and corrosion related failures
  • Acts as the department representative at various technical meetings including HAZOPS, MOC’s, audits, peer assists and technical reviews.
  • Helps to drive and embrace continuous improvement in the Integrity and Quality team and demonstrates leadership by mentoring others to do the same.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures as well as Federal and State regulations.
Essential Education
  • HSD
  • API certification 570/510
  • Proficient knowledge in the NDE techniques (VT, UT, MT, PT) Level II certification.
Essential Experience and Job Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience inspecting pressure equipment and piping.
  • Mastery knowledge regarding inspection and integrity related industry standards
  • Experience with Nexus or similar Inspection Software
  • Substantial knowledge of gas and liquid processing operations.
  • Inspection experience at PSM facilities
  • Proficient level skills using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point)

How much do we pay (Base)? $113,050-168,838 *Note that the pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
