Responsible for managing a team to deliver accounting and reporting services and ensure the integrity and effectiveness of accounting policy application, internal control, financial reporting, accounting systems support and delivery of end-to-end financial accounting processes, implementing continuous improvement plans and managing conformance to internal and external requirements.

Intercompany Operational Excellence Lead!
In this role You will:
  • Be responsible for performing the key controls relating to BP group reporting.
  • Oversee intercompany agreements and eliminations at Quarter-end for the BP group.
  • Be responsible to drive the standardization agenda on within GBS activities transitioned to the central intercompany team working with the operational leaders in intercompany and other GBS teams.
  • Be responsible for Bp intercompany policy and procedure’s (GPDS) documentation and governance.
  • Be responsible for delivering learning methods for intercompany procedures, ICE systems including development and deployment of e-learnings
  • Own the Group Entity Manual (GEM) system as a business user.
  • Own all processes and systems that support and help deliver the Group’s Intercompany process. Own and develop intercompany tools.
  • Be accountable for statutory and internal / group / ISO audit liaising for intercompany activities globally.
  • Responsible to manage end-to-end intercompany dispute process, system, and process-performance-indicator tracking.
  • Responsible to manage end-to-end intercompany overdue related process, system, process compliance and process-performance-indicator tracking.
  • Responsible for developing and executing intercompany communication strategy.
  • Product owner of all intercompany systems and processes including but not limited to ICE UFA, ICE Pay, Yammer Support, ICT Mailbox, GEM, et al.
  • Establish strong governance process for projects.
  • Close monitoring, tracking, and reporting of IT tickets through to closure.
  • Support all transition activity in the Intercompany Hub Team. Support all transition projects and ensure that processes and controls are in place to ensure no impact on day-to-day activities

We have the following requirements:
  • Finance related degree
  • 8+ years’ experience in related financial area
  • Fluent English knowledge
  • People management experience with proven leadership skills
  • Recognized accountancy qualification is an advantage
  • High level of analytical skills, numeracy, and financial awareness
  • Ability to coach, challenge and influence effectively, building networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge
  • Proactive in initiating actions before being asked to or forced to by events
  • Ability to work with deadlines, under pressure with a track record of delivery
  • Strong impact, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-confident appearance in relations to the internal and external contacts
