The Joint Venture Auditor is accountable for participating in and leading audits of OBO (operated by other) properties across multiple global regions. The auditor is accountable for the coordination of timely rebuttals to audits all the way through to resolution including working with commercial on settlements. Over the last 2 years, the OBO JV Audit team has recovered $70m net from audits.
The JV Auditor works with operators of our OBO JVs in reviewing various activities of Joint Venture expenditure (capex, cash cost and decommissioning) as well as revenue. The role requires strong analytical, teamwork and communication skills. Being able to review, understand and identify risk in Joint Operating Agreements and Contracts is the basis for this role.
