Job summary

Responsible for delivering business analysis and consulting activities for the defined specialism using advanced technical capabilities, building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, ensuring relevant standards are defined and maintained, and managing process and system improvements to deliver business value. Specialisms: Business Analysis; Data Management and Data Science; Digital Innovation.

Key Accountabilities:

Conducting the core business analysis activities within a digital product landscape, discovering, analysing, ensuring that requirements are fit for purpose and aligned to a business value chain and agreed upon objectives; while working closely Stakeholders, Product Managers and Product Owners to deliver the change
Collaborating with the Product Owners and the teams to prioritise product backlogs.
Define baselines, measures, and interdependencies of value streams to drive benefits realization
Be familiar with all Scrum ceremonies, roles and responsibilities, Design thinking and agile business analysis principles.
Work with the Scrum team on continuous business & technical requirements for story grooming and provide mentorship on future stories & defect tickets.
Validate what has been delivered meets the stated user story acceptance criteria.
Organize sprint reviews with Product Owners to provide visibility and collect feedback.
Facilitate idea storming and process definition workshops with Business partners at all levels based in different locations.
Facilitate dependencies, risks and issues across team utilizing scrum of scrum techniques for effective migration.
Contributes to the Global BA Discipline
Align with BP's Code of Conduct and models BP's Values and Behaviours.
Work flexible hours as this role is part of the Global Site, Store, Execution squad

Essential Education:

Tertiary education and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
Practitioner agile business analysis/Agile analysis.
Practitioner design thinking

Essential Experience and Job Requirements:

Business analysis experience, preferably in an Agile environment with development tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira.
Document to efficiently communicate requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
Track record of good interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.
Initiate, plan and develop Business Analysis activities in support of strategic initiatives.
Ability to work within a virtual global team environment, self-motivated to work with limited supervision.
Strong communication skills to present and articulate at all levels of the organization.
Strong evidence of working as a teammate.
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Can resolve conflicting ideas and demands to provide clarity.
The ability to deliver a message effectively and concisely at all levels, on both a technical and a business level

Desirable Criteria:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Professional Scrum Certification (PSC)
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent
