Job summary

Responsible for driving supply chain performance that supports regional plans and wider strategies through building an optimized supply network, managing risk and providing advanced technical guidance to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products, whilst assuring all supply chain activities are compliant with the relevant risk and quality standards, processes and procedures.

Job Purpose

This role will lead China transportation & warehouse excellence projects start from 2021 and continues develop new initiates/ projects to deliver CPL reduction NET of inflation China VRP target.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Uses cost-to-serve analysis to identify collaborative opportunities for improvement.
  • Works in partnership and collaboration with cross-functional teams to see opportunities for service excellence, continuous improvement, and the application of innovation.
  • Works with peers for the effective management and transition of goods from production to transportation that meet both service and cost objectives, whilst growing agility.
  • Works with China Logistics Operation and Solution Manager to identify, implement and supervise OCC projects that able delivery CPL reduction target.
  • Supervises global critical metrics that measure and track logistics operations performance, working in close collaboration with China Supply Chain Competitiveness Delivery Team to drive continuous improvement.

Education

  • University Graduate with degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related areas
  • Proficient in English

Experience

  • 8 +years working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations
  • Substantial experience in the lubricants or FMCG with the functional and leadership skills and capability in logistics operations.
  • Experience of operating in a complex matrix organization
