Job summary

Responsible for ensuring a safe, effective and service-orientated network of transport contractors and third parties that adhere to BP's standards, adding value through cost savings, customer satisfaction and enhanced business performance, while providing high-quality delivery through improvement of processes, and providing expertise and guidance to internal and external contacts.

Job Purpose

  • Lead logistics team to fully comply with OMS to ensure logistics operation compliance with BP requirements, including legal and regulatory requirements, to enable sufficient resource in continuous risk reduction and performance improvement
Key Accountabilities
  • Lead logistics team safely, ensuring Safety standards are set and adhered to across the team.
  • Act as procedure owner have complete OMS online training and capable to write procedure following 4.1 Practices and Procedures requirement.
  • Act as BP Contract Accountable Manager to ensure safe execution of the contracted work while applying the Working with Contractor process throughout for related logistics operation processes.
  • Generate local business processes and standard of procedures in compliance with BP OMS and other group standards, local, state and country rules and regulations.
  • Organize the resource and enhance team’s capability to implement DSP and systematically improve driving safety process and activities.
  • Complying with GSC strategy to develop the reliable and efficient logistics HSSE management system to standard logistics HSSE activities nationally.
  • Safety and operation risks have been assessed periodically. Continuous risk reduction and disciplined behaviour at all levels to challenge and eliminate unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Build up a reliable distribution network to provide excellent service to our customers to support business growth in safety manner & effective cost model.
  • Manage the safe disposal of de-commercialized products in accordance with legislation and BP standards.
Requirements:

Education
  • University Graduate in Business Administration, Statistics or equivalent with substantial experience in the lubricants, CPG or chemical industry, with the functional and leadership skills and capability in logistics operations.
  • Languages: English - Fluent
Experience
  • Min. 8 years supply chain operational leadership experience.
  • In-depth understanding of logistics process/system etc.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership skills, specifically showing a wide range of interpersonal skills applicable in different situations with staff, internal peers and networks within organizations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.
