Role Synopsis - Maintenance & Systems Analyst
The Maintenance & Systems Analyst is responsible for the accurate and efficient generation of reports through a team of System Administrators to enable the Maintenance Leadership team to make accurate business decisions based on system data. The Maintenance Cost & Systems Analyst also plays a key role in ensuring efficient utilization of maintenance software systems (i.e. Maximo and TRACK) to provide the vital data to drive the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the refinery. This job description is intended to provide an overview of the position and does not include all the tasks that might be required to provide support for your area job requirements.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for health, safety and environmental performance and awareness in area of responsibility to achieve our goals of no accidents, no harm to people and no harm to the environment. Prepares and conducts safety meetings. Coordinates and participates in all refinery safety programs. Maintains a clean, safe work site and ensures adequate housekeeping.
  • Participates in the support of the Employee Policy. That is, everyone knows what is encouraged of them. (expectations/proficiencies), everyone has open discussions (appraisals) about performance issues, everyone is helped/helps develop employee capabilities (personal development), and everyone will be listened to and involved in improving their team’s performance (feedback).
  • Team Lead for TRACK System Administrator to produce cost reports and forecasts.
  • Ensure alignment between Toledo Procurement/Vendor Enablement/GBS/TRACK Admin/Contract Organization.
  • Develops and provides the Maintenance Leadership team with the vital reports, KPIs, and data analytics to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient Maintenance and TAR related activities.
  • Works with Maintenance Leadership Team to build and improve teamwork.
  • Provides reports to ensure efficient analysis of data and assists in developing and justifying recommendations to address backlog management and budgeting issues.
  • Acts as lead for improving system processes that increases the overall efficiency of the Maintenance organization, Track, digital solutions, data management, and technology improvements.
  • Takes the lead as System Administrator for Maintenance related systems (i.e. Maximo, TRACK, etc.), collaborates with BP Solutions and Refinery counterparts to ensure alignment and improvements.
  • Supports Turnaround organizations as assigned (i.e. Cost Controls).
  • Participates in training programs for refinery personnel.
  • Safely and efficiently delivers all other assignments as advised by the Maintenance Leadership team.
  • Crafts Track WOs, 1/4ly, and annual PRs for embedded contract resources based on predicted spend.
  • Refinery Scheduler Back-up.
  • Supports schedule compliance reporting and analysis.
Education
HS Education + 10yrs Refining Experience with maintenance work process, TRACK, or Cost Controls immersion or bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Required Experience
(5) Five years business significant experience, including high level knowledge and experience using Maximo and TRACK.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
TRACK Analyst and Cost Controls experience. Strong Continuous Improvement methodology experience.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Work Process.
  • Validated budget and cost control skills.
  • Computer Programs— Maximo, P6, TRACK, Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word.
