Job summary

Responsible for assisting in the implementation of marketing programmes for the business and, specifically, using sound marketing knowledge and experience to support the development of innovative products and brand offers, leveraging consumer and customer insights, supporting country plans and managing as per brand guidelines and policy.

The Marketing manager will play a key role in delivering the Service and Maintenance growth strategy in Central, Caribbean and South America (CCSA). Reporting to the CCSA Marketing Manager, will work closely with the Global Service and Maintenance (S&M) team to leverage and create best practice marketing programs for the IWS (Independent Workshop)

Role located in Lima or Bogota

• Lead the IWS growth agenda defining and deploying strategy and standardized offers
• Support the CCSA Marketing manager by delivering and tracking branded IWS network growth objectives & KPIs
• Create and adapt innovative value added offers in collaboration with the global S&M team
• Drive market share growth and brand performance by co-developing insight-based marketing plans with distributors
• Manage a marketing budget to co-invest with distributors
• Translate global/regional brand initiatives into local plans

Key Accountabilities

• Leads the IWS strategy implementation for the CCSA network to deliver strategic KPIs and both network and volume growth
• Acts as single point of contact for the design and implementation of relevant value-added offers and marketing programs
• Works proactively and persuasively to strengthen marketing capabilities and effectiveness in the IWS space. Fosters teamwork and champions best practices.
• Analyses market, competitor and consumer trends to inform the definition of highly relevant marketing offers and programs
• Supports distributors with product brand strategy implementation, trade up strategies, offer development/customization, promotional design and ROI optimization, channel development, market research and competitive intelligence programs.
• Manages and supervises the local implementation of the agreed marketing plan and monitors execution at country level.
• Works with Sales Manager(s) to define and execute strategies to support volume and GM growth, track distributor/customer performance and to ensure the correct product portfolio and pricing strategy are implemented
• Ensures best in class delivery of product launches and marketing communications campaigns, including digital initiatives, to customers and end consumers, measured against strategic brand objectives and KPIs
• Ensures correct price implementation by product, validated by value chain analysis
• Manages and controls variable trade marketing budget; agrees investment allocation with Sales, CCSA Marketing Manager and distributors
• Leads emerging specific projects that support business priorities ensuring volume and margin objectives are met
• Supports portfolio management and coordination of country specific projects

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline or relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • B2B and B2C marketing activation
  • Marketing campaign execution
  • In working with agencies across multiple channels and countries, in a matrix organization with complex customer interfaces and in defining service offer beyond products
  • Sales experience desirable
