Job summary

Responsible for brand development of the brand in the market, conducting strategy development, creative communication and project management of relevant projects and leveraging insights to drive innovation in execution of the global brand offer, whilst defining country plans and managing as per global guidelines and policy.

Job Purpose

  • To drive the high growth of China business, a series of sponsorship related marketing activities are set to achieve Castrol’s leading position in the auto service market. The role will lead (develop and implement) on local and global sponsorship related marketing activation/projects in line with overall PU marketing plan by working with various internal teams and external partners
Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop unique sponsorship related marketing offer in China, working closely with other teams in the marketing, including brand & comms team and channel marketing managers.
  • Lead nationwide sponsorship related co-marketing campaigns' implementation cross customer groups e.g. OEMs, Cars dealer group, Chain-store, E-Commerce and other key customers.
  • Ensure the optimum use of sponsorship / IP collaboration assets in the related marketing campaigns to enhance business value for Castrol and other business partners
  • Coordinate with brand and channel team to develop the local activation plan to improve all sponsorship assets value
  • Accountable for critical metrics and landmarks delivery of the sponsorship related marketing offers/campaigns
  • Degree or equivalent business qualification(s)
  • Proven experience in carrying out related sponsorship activation/marketing event/marketing campaign
  • Experience with generating consumer, customer insight and working to translate them into offer and programs
  • Brand management experience would be a benefit
  • Customer oriented attitude and strong influencing skills
  • Experience of working in a matrix organization with complex customer interfaces
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) as a given
