NL Statutory Reporting Coordinator
Join us in a crucial time of transition. We are bringing all of our finance and procurement activities for the group into one place, enabling better work. For you this means working with us on:

> Compliance – efficiently delivering external reporting requirements to ensure we continue to meet our regulatory ‎obligations in all jurisdictions, supported by robust control environment across all three lines of ‎defence.‎

> Stewardship – laying out a robust finance framework and providing ongoing management of the balance sheet and ‎portfolio execution, supported by effective advocacy to the market.‎

> Performance – facilitating the effective allocation of capital, development of business plans and coordination of ‎business performance interventions to ensure a consistent delivery between strategic aspirations, ‎operational forecasts and delivered outcomes. Furthermore, you will be responsible for value creation through mergers and acquisition-led ‎deals, commercial negotiations and integration of business opportunities.‎

> Transformation – driving digital transformation (centralising, digitising, optimising) across all elements of the finance entity to ‎achieve sector-leading cost-performance.

In this role you will:
  • Prepare the Statutory annual accounts process for multiple Belgium and Netherlands companies
  • Pro-actively contribute to successful delivery of internal and external audits
  • Deliver statistical information for Netherlands companies
  • Contribute to the delivery of tax packs and other requested information for Tax, Legal and Treasury department
  • Pro-actively participate in process developments and process changes
  • Maintain good relationships with local Finance, Tax, Legal, HR teams
  • Month end closing activities under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Handelsgesetzbuch (HGB)
We have the following requirements:
> A Bachelor's degree is required - preferably in Finance, Accountancy
> A minimum of 5 years experience in Finance as independent financial accountant
> Strong financial accounting skills
> Corporate governance/corporate secretary experience
> Working experience in a multi-national company
> Strong business acumen
> Fluent in Dutch and English
> Ability to effectively communicate with staff at various levels and with various backgrounds
> Experience with complex data analysis and financial reporting

Desirable criteria:
  • Experience in a manufacturing organization is preferable
  • Experience in working with large ERP systems like SAP and SAP BW
  • You enjoy problem-solving, working under pressure and are results-oriented
