To help us continue our strong momentum and expand our retail skillset, we have an opportunity to join our Operations Excellence and Optimisation team as an Offer Execution Lead. This is a new and permanent position within bp’s global organization based in Melbourne.

As an Offer Execution Lead, you will hold responsibility for driving the excellent execution of our convenience retail offers to deliver a consistent and stand out customer experience across our bp sites. This role is accountable for the overall execution plan in Victoria for the new retail food offer, including coordinating our store roll outs, set up & communications across the Retail business.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Putting customers at the heart of what we do by focusing on the customer experience from an operational perspective & ensuring every decision is viewed through the lens of the customer
  • Putting stores at the heart of what we do by being the voice of our stores to internal bp teams & stakeholders
  • Ensuring there is consistency of offer across our company owned store network
  • Ensuring adherence to and execution of marketing, promotions and signage requirements
  • Developing store level interventions and tools, communications and sharing of best practice
  • Utilising voice of customer feedback & other customer centric metrics to inform continuous improvement
  • Comparing performance KPIs vs our balance scorecard targets and driving optimisation programs across Store Operations.
  • Acting as a coach to internal teams and stakeholders on opportunities to achieve growth

Experience Required:

  • A passion for retail and a desire to win is a must!
  • Strong experience in Retail Operations, Trading or Fresh Convenience/Food Service roles
  • Experience in developing & executing strategies and tactics to drive business results
  • Strong eye for detail, standards and execution, especially from a customer lens
  • Strong fresh convenience, product and food knowledge Confidence in influencing, communicating, and building strong relationships to achieve commercial outcomes
  • Flexible, resilient, adaptable to an ever-changing convenience retail environment
  • Experience with change management, agile methodology and or program management delivery desirable
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business or significant experience working in similar roles
