Due to some internal movement, we are now looking for an Operations Specialist to join the team. The role provides facilitation and oversight of the day-to-day operational functions across the New Zealand Castrol Supply Chain. Areas of control include, International and Local Transport, Third Party Warehouse Management including inventory control well as providing a center of expertise for the NZ Castrol Business in Contractor Management, Health, Safety and Compliance Contractor Management.


YOUR RESPNSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Work with 3PL’s to ensure contractual agreements are met and are exceeded
  • Monitor and report on 3PL performance
  • Find opportunities to continuously improve performance
  • Work with PF transport providers to ensure contractual agreements are met and are exceeded
  • Set delivery processes and standards in place that ensure safe delivery and at the right quality
  • Deliver budgeted cost for Operational activity across the network whilst finding opportunities to balance cost to serve
  • Act as a point of contact customer concern for resolution of service-oriented complaints

ABOUT YOU
  • 3+ years’ experience in a warehousing & distribution supervisory environment with confirmed performance in process and service improvement
  • Demonstrated Inventory Control and Stock Management experience
  • Proven warehouse and transport management history
  • Contract management experience
