Job summary

Job Purpose
The specific accountabilities of this role include Implementation of strategic customer agenda, providing support to the sales team in the areas of pricing administration, conceptualizing, adapting, and implementing distributor management framework, business analysis and all aspects of customer service.
The role is critical in ensuring Process and Data accuracy considering the financial and reputation impact to the organization.

Key Accountabilities

The role plays a pivotal function in facilitating the price change for the Automotive, Heavy Duty and Industrial business and ensuring smooth & accurate price change implementation.
Pricing Specialist will have the responsibility to manage the following 4 key portfolios:
  1. Pricing Implementation & analysis
  2. Market Intel (MI)
  3. Offer Tools
  4. Projects
  1. Price Change Management (New SKU / Bulk Change)
  2. Pricing Templates (Modern Trade / ODT, PCA & WBC for HD, Industrial & WS respectively)
  3. Managing Price research activity and insights out of consumer research e.g. GFK.
  4. Manage and input into Price Variation Formula Management.
  5. Understanding of Value Chain & VC optimisation.
  6. Working with PU stakeholders to optimise the Gross to Nett pricing journey.
  7. GST Management / Distributor Margin Change Management
  8. Price Premium Analysis.
  9. Online Pricing Tool, COGS and Price management in all Offer Tools
  10. Continuously explore new opportunities to simplify operations and add value to business by bringing insights from pricing data/MOP trackers.
  11. SPA for ensuring right tagging in ERP for right reporting
The role helps the organization in developing profitable offers to its B2B customers, providing visibility to the offers and reporting profitability of the B2B business.
Project Management - The role will help deliver various pricing-related projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent
  • 3 years of Sales / Pricing Experience.
  • MS Office Skills, Power BI Skills, JDE query understanding, Flair for IT, prior experience in Sales Process and / or ERP Automation preferred.
  • Experience in pulling insights from complex datasets.
  • Experience in working with complex Discount and Rebate structures.
