Job summary

The specific accountabilities of this role include Implementation of strategic customer agenda, providing support to the sales team in the areas of pricing administration, conceptualizing, adapting and implementing distributor management framework, business analysis and all aspects of customer service
Pricing Specialist will have the responsibility to support the following 4 key portfolios:
1) Pricing Implementation & analysis
2) MI (OEM / JBR / etc)
3) Offer Tools
4) Projects
The role will call for working in close collaboration with team members from: Sales, Marketing, Finance/Performance Management, Supply Chain.
Scope of role is auto pricing across the PU plus Industrial pricing in Japan, or other as assigned.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

The role plays a pivotal function in facilitating the price change for the Automotive, Heavy Duty and Industrial business and ensuring smooth & accurate price change implementation.
The key accountabilities are :
1) Price Change Management (New SKU / Bulk Change)
2) Pricing Templates (Modern Trade / ODT, PCA & WBC for HD, Industrial & WS respectively)
3) Price List (Print / PDF / Pricing MI) for all businesses
4) GST Management / Distributor Margin Change Management
5) Distributor Floor Stock Credit Note during Price Increase or decrease
6) Price Premium Analysis
7) Support Online Pricing Tool, COGS and Price management in all Offer Tools
8) Managing OEM contracts in soft form and ensuring right JBR reporting by ensuring right contract updates in ERP
9) Continuously explore new opportunities to simplify operations and add value to business by bringing insights from pricing data/MOP trackers.
10) Ensuring right tagging in ERP for right reporting


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

Experience

  • 3 years of Sales / Pricing Experience.
  • MS Office Skills, Flair for IT, prior experience in Sales Process and / or ERP Automation preferred
Skills & Competencies
  • Exposure to Sales Process Automation
  • Good understanding of the Sales, operation Process and E&C requirement
  • Adequate understanding of B2B/ B2C Channels, competitors, OEMs, basic product knowledge
  • Familiar with the workings of direct as well as indirect sales channels
  • Good project & time Management
  • Strong pricing and analytic skills
  • Project & relationship management – basic
  • Integrated pricing - basic
Education
  • University degree or equivalent business qualification
