The purpose of the role is to drive commercial optimization with data analytics and actions’ impact monitoring across bp’s European Fleet business, covering all segments. Provides data driven insights for campaign management and creates impact monitoring methodology. Creates and implements commercial optimization projects with the involvement of various stakeholders, bridging between multiple functions and teams. Recommends actions, new rebate and fee schemes and commercial models based on quantitative and qualitative insights.

Your Tasks:

  • Skillful application of quantitative analytical methods to create data based insights regarding commercial conditions, rebate schemes, fees and surcharges.
  • Drives optimization projects, contributing to churn reduction, customer acquisition, lifetime value increase and individual and segment profitability.
  • Implements and enables embedding of processes, practices and system capabilities for commercial portfolio optimization.
  • Creates comprehensive insights based on analytics, recommends commercial optimization projects to maximize customer value, to support customer acquisition and retention.
  • Uses Fleet and non-Fleet (e.g. convenience, loyalty) data for synthetized and integrated value generation and campaign initiatives. Recommends optimal commercial conditions and models for maximized customer value.
  • Generates and uses quantitative market intelligence to reach competitive advantage.
  • Contributes and supports open loop payment project implementation with exploring and analyzing new payment methods and their applications in European Fleet business.
  • Manages performance of commercial optimization campaigns: supports KPI reporting, impact monitoring and project evaluation. Synthetized learnings and applies findings in campaigns and projects.
  • Supports commercial Fleet projects, actively cooperates with internal and external stakeholders.

Your background:
  • Minimum bachelor’s, preferably master’s degree in economics or commercial fields.
  • Min. 1-3 years of analytical experience, preferably in B2B.
  • Knowledge of commercial models, pricing schemes, statistical methods is essential.
  • Knowledge of the European Fleet business and / or open-loop payment schemes is an advantage.
  • Experience in Customer relationship management
  • Understanding and implementing sales and marketing strategy and programmes
  • Skillful application of analytical capabilities: full understanding of complex data sets, thorough knowledge of statistical methods, data science.
  • Skillful in processing, structuring, and managing data to enable data driven insights, turned into commercial actions. Applies analytical competency in commercial optimization and development projects, active contribution to payment project.
  • Skillful project and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of commercial and pricing schemes and business case development. Creates individually commercial optimization recommendations: models scenarios, provides comprehensive overview on benefit cases and risks.
  • Performance management of developed commercial models & fine-tuning for maximum value creation power.
  • Strong business understanding, commercial acumen. Good communication skills, knowledge sharing.
  • Application of knowledge, active participation in strategic projects.
  • Superb numeric skills and capability to translate data into insights and actions.
  • Fluent English language skills
