Job summary

As the People & Culture (P&C) team moves into embracing agile ways of working, the P&C Advisor is a key member of the of Asia Pacific Consulting agile team. The P&C Advisor will work in project and/or business squads supporting business priorities. These team are self-organizing, aligned behind a mission and understand how they are expected to deliver value. The P&C Advisor will serve as squad leader/member to deliver people & culture project deliverables.

Key Accountabilities

Role being a part of As Pac Consulting Team

  • Operate as a flexible partnering team that can shift focus based on agreed priorities
  • Implement agile methodologies to maximize value for the business and our people
  • Member of business and/or project squads
  • When working in a business squad:
    • Develops understanding of the business and focuses on driving and delivering organizational change initiatives as appropriate.
    • Drives delivery of agreed people priorities through the self-organized team
    • Delivers people & culture advisory support to senior leaders and responds to employee concerns in partnership with embedded partner
    • Provides and interprets people data insights in support of agreed priorities
    • Interprets site/location specific P&C policies and processes
    • In countries or sites where not performed by the employee/line manager directly with services & solutions: manages people data, provides people reports to the business, actions changes to P&C systems, supports embedded partner in administration of local legislative requirements, responds to P&C policy and Reward questions
  • When working in a project squad:
    • Delivers the defined products in sprint cycles in accordance with working agreements as defined by that self-organizing squad.

Role being a Business Partner of Supply Chain Team for Thailand
  • Contribute to the development and execution of a people plan for Supply Chain Team, which aligned with business strategy and P&C strategic agenda.
  • Ensure delivery of the plans and priorities to agreed costs and service levels
  • Use group frameworks and tools identify the future organizational capability requirement for the Supply Chain Team, diagnose current gaps and execute gaps closure actions.
  • Contribute to the execution of a resourcing and retention strategy, aligned with Talent Acquisition frameworks and standards, to attract and retain the right people talent and resources to deliver the business agenda of Supply Chain Team. (Operational Level)
  • Drive the talent management and succession planning agenda within the Supply Chain Team and cross functions where relevant.
  • Support Team Leader in embedding business diversity and inclusion priorities in all people plans and processes
  • Contribute to the development and execution of an employee relations strategy for the business/function, compliant with group standards and policies and regional regulatory requirements
  • Provide advice and guidance to business leadership and line managers on P&C policies and practices.
  • Embed core people management capability and coach to upskill Supply Chain leadership, including front line managers how to become a seasoned people manager.
  • Manage overall sub-contractor contract for all company including other headcounts embedded in other functions.
  • Contribute to Operational Standard Certification process where P&C role is relevant e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, etc.
Requirements
  • Experience in leadership development and coaching, reward, talent management, performance management, recruitment and selection, on-boarding and off-boarding i.e. all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Strong experience of employment law, P&C best practice and employee/industrial relations
  • Strong experience in leading organisational change programs and organisational design experience
  • Project experience, ideally in an Agile environment
Desirable Criteria
  • Ideally experience working in both P&C Business Partnering and Centre of Excellence (e.g. Reward, Talent, IR/ER etc.) roles.
  • Agile accreditation (Optional)
