Job summary

Grade IResponsible for supporting the team to maximise profitability and sales opportunities by managing and developing strategic business relationships for sales direct/B2B in a defined geographic area, building on existing relationships and creating new business opportunities. The scope of the role will influence the grade – this can include financial accountability, geographical scope, leadership responsibilities and overall level of responsibility.

We are now looking for Portugal Fleet Electrification Key Account Manager based in Portugal.

In this position you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to bp’s electrification offer expansion to the European Fleet customers as well as reducing the carbon footprint of bp and fleet customers.

The Key Account Manager is a customer facing role responsible for direct sales of fuel & charge product as well as electrification offers and services to Key Account customers within a defined geographic area. This includes sales performance and profitability, managing and growing the existing customer accounts through upselling and developing new business opportunities through active prospecting and customer acquisition.

  • Sales of fleet electrification offers & services to Key Account customers with annual requirements defined on Business Segment regarding monthly active F&C cards and kwh of consumption.
  • Support E2E electrification offer and integration with pulse team + hardware partners
  • Develop Key Account Plans to enable long term growth and sales of value-added fleet offers and services.
  • Undertake customer profitability analysis and take mitigating actions where required
  • Develop and maintain a sales prospect pipeline to deliver profitable growth via new customer acquisition
  • Maintain existing customer portfolio and look for opportunities to develop incremental business via cross- and upsell
  • Capture and feedback customer insights and market intelligence to differentiate and position BP offer
Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering

  • Proven sales track record, knowledge of electrification value selling and complex negotiations
  • Good influencing skills with resourceful and committed sales approach
  • High impact individual with excellent communication skills, both face to face and via telephone.
  • Able to multi-task and manage time and activities effectively
