Pressure Systems & Integrity Engineer

Job summary

Reporting to the Integrity Management Discipline Lead (IM DL), deployed to a Facilities Support Squad.

The Pressure Systems Integrity Engineer is accountable for delivering a technically robust and cost effective integrity regime for their operating unit. Demonstrates ongoing compliance to topside containment performance by incorporating central and other relevant 3rd party contract companies as necessary to provide optimum business performance.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure Regulatory and BP standard compliance
• Responsible for management of Engineering contractor providing assurance to IM DL on technical delivery and cost management.
• Technical owner of Performance Standards relevant to the defined remit (ie: Topside Pressure Containment System and PSV’s, providing support to Verification activities related to these Performance Standards.
• Responsible for working to Risk Management Processes, ensuring an integrity risk can be calibrated against other business risks, raising risks into the asset RAT tool as required.
• Review and approve SOIRs (Statement of Inspection Requirements), inspection reports and provide technical analysis and recommendations when needed.
• Manage inspection information, develop and update inspection strategies and plans as needed with support form Materials and Corrosion Engineer.
• Responsible for inspection / integrity input to platform TAR Programs.
• Responsible for compliance with relevant STP’s and SMS documents, and their implementation in the Operating Unit
• Responsible for managing anomalies through the AA&T process
• Support the integrity Management Discipline budget control and approval of invoices.
• Accountable for managing deferrals under equipment ownership.

Essential Education:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline

Essential Experience:

• Strong BP values, with good interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
• The ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills with good planning and follow-up skills.
• Self-motivation and persistence.
• The ability to work both independently and as a team player.
• Experience in risk ranking
