Leading strategic and operational planning based on business requirements by prioritizing IT initiatives and fostering innovation
Driving thought-leadership on architectural practices and standards to ensure architectural integrity is maintained across products by adhering to standard methodologies
Advocating new delivery method, including agile delivery, DevOps, modularity etc.
Leading the adoption of new technologies/functionalities to achieve business goals
Delivery & Project Management
Driving end-to-end execution against all digital initiatives and projects
Partnering with the portfolio team and local business teams to accelerate the implementation
Providing full-life cycle technical support for digital products and services that built by the team
Leading 3rd party suppliers’ overall performance including coding quality, service level and so on
Collaboration & Enablement
Using key digital ecosystems in China and help leadership team drive the technical conversation with key partners
Working closely with global discipline team to make sure local solutions are in line with the right global standards, ensure alignment digital stack, API standard etc.
Collaborating with Digital Security team and make sure that our IT infrastructure/environment is secure
IT Infrastructure & Service
Leading IT infrastructure modernization and improve user experience by adopting emerging technologies & practices and setting high standards and stretched goals
Leading all aspects of IT services that services based on defined Service Level Agreement and lead outsourced service team’s performance
Eliminating system loopholes and minimizing potential risks that could result in any data breach, system compromise etc.
Capability & Talent development
Developing a sustainable IT interpersonal structure that supports bp China’s business growth. Establishing protocols and operating procedures
Supervising recruitment, development, retention in accordance with interpersonal budgetary objectives and P&C policies
Leading documentation and transition to daily operations, ensuring successful capability development and knowledge transfer
Building a highly engaged team, providing coaching to the team, empowering people and help other grow
