Job summary

  • Responsible for processing requisitions, placing orders for goods and services, monitoring orders until the invoice is processed and supplier is paid, and resolving blocked invoice queries, in order to meet the Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements for procurement operations.
  • Coordination for assigned procurement and purchasing activities, operation and process improvement in country. Support and participate in the implementation of Global/Regional non-hydrocarbon Lubricants purchasing strategies.
  • Maintain close working relationship with business stakeholders providing a key point of contact for assigned procurement categories.

Key Accountabilities :
  • Manage purchasing activities for assigned categories (locally sourced,/imported finished goods) according to agreed price, commercial term and required date correctly. Monitor and follow up on PO and delivery status to ensure on time supply.
  • To manage and update operational trackers and record, eg. contracts, tender registry, approved suppliers list, etc.
  • To manage product non-conformance claim process to ensure prompt closure according to agreed timeframe.
  • To update and housekeep system master data to ensure data system hygiene.
  • To support and coordinate packaging introduction and transition driven by new product launches, procurement and competitiveness initiatives, marketing initiatives, etc.
  • To support and coordinate in supplier relationship management, contract review and negotiating terms and conditions, ensuring that all internal stakeholders are aligned with sourcing and procurement strategies.
  • Act as response team member for crisis/continuity management, with accountabilities consistent with relevant response plans and as assigned.
  • Act as job representative for contacts as assigned in COMPASS, Liaise and communicate with the Contractor’s job representative over fulfilment of responsibilities detailed within the contract, verify identified hazards and controls are implemented, and conduct inspection & audits.
Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
  • 3 years or more in relevant business preferably in purchasing, procurement, logistics and supply chain operations.
Essential Education:
  • Diploma holder and equivalent work experience, in an appropriate technical and commercial discipline.
Desirable Criteria :
  • Good planning, organizing and administrative skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
