About the role

The Project Manager - AsPac Supply Chain role will lead delivery of a coordinated projects portfolio in service of Castrol’s value realisation programme (VRP) in the relevant performance unit (PU) supply chain. This role will also provide targeted supply chain VRP project management support in line with PU priorities, with a primary focus on planning transformation.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work in an agile model aligned with the supply chain transformation teams and priorities
  • Integrate and manage the supply chain value proposition by developing and deploying the transformation roadmap
  • Support supply chain prioritisation by leading and balancing resources to secure delivery of targeted strategic critical metrics
  • Provide regular updates on supply chain roadmap in alignment with performance management processes, and Castrol governance models
  • Lead key partner engagement and communications throughout projects and in project results
  • Provide project management support in line with logistical priorities focusing on Americas planning transformation
  • Lead end to end planning for American logistical transformation by implementing digital tools, and processes to build Castrol's global planning capability
  • Handle the transformation timeline, resources, and interdependencies, for efficient resolution of risks and issues
  • Proactively share successes, efficiencies, standard methodologies, and findings with global teams to increase alignment
  • Lead the PU digital agenda while supporting the PU Planning team to implement modern digital planning and supply chain tools, process enhancements and support capability build in line with Castrol’s global planning frameworks
  • As part of the Supply Chain PU leadership team, deliver VRP commitments and digital transformation road map in collaboration with the PU LT and guided by the PU leader

Experience
  • Experience in defining and leading successful transformations in supply chain
  • Supply chain project management experience
  • Experience in Lubricants and/or FMCG
  • Experience operating in a sophisticated matrix organisation

Skills & Proficiencies
  • Strong programme management, proficient in waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Ability to communicate, challenge and influence partners at different levels
  • Resilient with ability to handle ambiguity and complexity
  • Eye for business and financial principles
  • Adapts and operates at both strategic programme overview and project detail
