The intern is expected to learn and support Tangguh Area Development Team working under supervision of Sr. Reservoir Engineer in the team to obtain the real work experience starting from data compilation, integrating the static and dynamic data into the reservoir model, leads to production prediction and reserves estimation. Intern is expected to be actively involved and contributing in daily team discussion and activities.Besides strong reservoir/petroleum engineering foundation, interest in reservoir simulation and ability to work in a team will be essential to succeed in this program
The magang intern (intern) will be working in Area Development Plan Squad to gain working experience in reservoir management under Production & Operations Subsurface.Requirement
It is a programme full of variety which will give the learning and experience working in reservoir management in Tangguh gas field. Reservoir Engineer Intern will be exposed to range of classical reservoir engineering evaluation to reservoir simulation study, leading to production forecast and reserves estimation.
A mentor will be assigned to coach the magang intern throughout the program and will provide more details on deliverables, including daily tasks for the intern.
The intern will work hybrid mode between online and offline due to current pandemic situation, therefore he/she is expected to provide his/her own equipment and internet access to be able to work from home. Specific additional equipment and access to bp system will be provided as necessary.
The working hours will be following normal working hours in bp.
