The Sales Delivery Lead BASE/SME is responsible for driving strategic and operational development agenda to improve sales performance of SME and BASE segments through telesales as well as digital acquisition channels across bp’s European fleet business.
The role holder will drive SME and BASE sales project execution, sales efficiency improvements, sales channel optimization, quality assurance of telesales agencies and consistent performance management to enable volume and margin delivery of SME and BASE segments across fleet business in Europe. The role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders in Marketing, Credit, Pricing and technical teams to drive sales through the digital acquisition channels and telesales.

Your Tasks:

  • Design, implement and supervise execution of strategic and operational projects in SME and BASE to support volume and margin delivery against Fleet Plan
  • Drive sales efficiency improvements, channel optimization and consistent performance management through telesales and digital acquisition channels.
  • Drive improvements in design of the digital acquisition channel (OAF) to improve conversion rates.
  • Design and lead sales excellence and quality assurance programme of Telesales agencies in cooperation with Telesales coordinators.
  • Drive projects that enable volume and margin delivery of BASE and SME channels across Fleet Europe.
  • Help to develop and drive sales initiatives across Fleet.
  • Bridges the gap between financial reporting and business understanding by measuring and providing commentary on forecast variances to facilitate decision-making and ensure forecasts remain accurate and robust.

  • Portfolio of >30,000 SME and 40,000 BASE customers and deliver ambitious growth plan
  • Support delivery of ~700 million litres volume and ~60 million EUR margin plan
Your background:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher Excellent SAP Technical & MI Reporting Skills
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Telesales and/or Sales, E-commerce and Commercial Operational management.
  • Experience in B2B, ideally Fleet related business.
  • Sector, market, customer and competitor understanding (Level 4 mastery)
  • Business Insight - Understands the external (and internal) customer needs and strives to exceed their expectations (Mastery - Essential)
  • Excellent project management skills (Mastery - Essential);
  • Consultative selling skills (Level 4 mastery)
  • Selling through digital channels (Level 4 mastery)
  • Negotiating value (Level 4 mastery)
  • Knowledge of digital processes and interfaces between processes and systems; (Skillful - essential);
  • Very self-motivated and able to work as a self-starter;
  • Understanding and implementing sales and marketing strategy and programmes (Level 4 mastery)
  • Fluent in English and German, other European languages would be an asset (Polish, Dutch, Spanish).
