Job summary

bpx energy’s Recruiter will have one of the most important jobs in our business, playing a critical role in attracting world-class talent to our company. This individual will oversee all activities in identifying and attracting top-tier diverse talent to bpx energy. This person must build trust and collaborate with hiring managers across the organization. This person will provide guidance on all phases of the recruitment life cycle and build rapport with potential employees far and wide.

The incumbent will recruit for all levels, disciplines, and locations at bpx energy. The Senior Recruiter will be tasked with energizing our experienced recruiting activity and with building a unique recruitment brand that enables our business to attract high-caliber and diverse candidates. This person will be a collaborative teammate in the People & Culture (P&C) team, which strives daily to create an environment in which our employees have the chance to thrive.

The incumbent must be able to balance between recruiting strategy and tactical execution. We will rely on this person to stay ahead of latest trends in recruiting. As needed, the incumbent also will provide direction to our recruiting team and take on other relevant duties as assigned.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage full life-cycle recruitment process
    • Manage candidate engagement, communications, and provide an exceptional experience throughout the selection process
    • Provide guidance to hiring managers to ensure equity, consistency, and transparency in the candidate selection process
    • Lead our diversity recruiting outreach efforts, drive progress, and maintain alignment with bp’s aims
    • Cultivate our employment brand and clearly identify bpx energy’s employment value proposition
    • Provide a second-to-none candidate experience for all individuals who express interest in joining bpx energy
    • Maintain all documentation related to recruiting process
    • Manage all aspects of job posting mechanics
    • Identify and pursue improvements in our recruiting process KPIs
  • Sourcing
    • Seek and source passive candidates and be able to identify and gauge candidates for potential role fit
    • Develop sourcing models and plans to generate talent pools
    • Create and execute robust search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent
    • Identify and cultivate effective diverse sourcing channels
    • Possess ability to screen and develop candidate slates within the framework of the position specification
    • Build and maintain networks of passive candidates for strategic placements when demand requires
    • Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks
    • Manage relationships and activities of search firms as-needed
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree in HR or related discipline preferred
  • PHR or SPHR preferred
  • 7+ years of HR and/or Recruiting experience
  • Hands-on experience with progressive sourcing techniques
  • Familiarity with Workday and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Demonstrated success in leading exemplary experienced recruiting programs and in attracting top talent on a sustainable basis
  • Oil and gas experience strongly preferred

How much do we pay (Base)? $100,837-$149,659
