Senior Team Leader - Accounting - Szeged

In this role You will (be):

  • Ensure timely and accurate hydrocarbon accounting processes to deliver silent run and acceptable service level for the Business
  • Ensure timely and accurate mid-month, monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes in accordance with the Group Reporting Manual and any other relevant standards
  • Deliver global Finance Operation and Cost Accounting support to the Business partners assigned to the role
  • Ensure process compliance
  • Check regularly the status of the documents in order to ensure the silent run for the daily operation and audits
  • Work on sophisticated and difficult HVC ( Hydrocarbon Value Chain ) related processes that require deep end-to-end process understanding, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Lead or provide effective support to every kind of process improvements or projects by delivering new insights, energizing and inspiring the team
  • Support to adopt the outcomes of the key strategic transformation programmes
  • Work closely with several Hydrocarbon Value Chain teams that require willingness for supporting each other by knowledge sharing
  • Support the Hydrocarbon Value Chain Team Leaders and Supply Accounting Manager during the daily operation
  • Provide back up support to the Hydrocarbon Value Chain Team Leaders and the Supply Accounting Manager during their absence
  • Provide support to build up a good partnership with the Business partners
  • Adhering with the tasks outlined in the QMS Systems of GBS Europe
  • Carry out the period end close processes in a timely and accurate manner for sophisticated or difficult accounting areas to ensure the correct reporting and accounting treatment
  • Manage issue resolution and query handling reference to Group Reporting Manuals and / or working closely with the Business / Country teams supported
  • Work together with the Hydrocarbon Value Chain Team Leaders and Business / Country teams to understand the priorities and work to deliver against these as required
  • Manage process improvements and work with the relevant people to put these in place
  • Handle the relationship with every teams in GBS and in Accenture to ensure the smooth operation
  • Support the internal and external audits effectively to avoid the audit findings
  • Raise the attention of Supply Accounting Manager to the possible risks in the HVC related processes and make a proposal for the mitigation – proactive risk prediction and process gap monitoring
  • Support the implementation and actuation of the global functional model
  • Act as a focal point within the HVC organization providing guidance and support to other team members
  • Align with any other job-related requirements defined by Supply Accounting Manager , Process Lead or by Business contact

What You will need to be successful:

  • Relevant qualification and 5-year experience in related Finance area
  • Proficiency in English
  • Previous people management experience
  • Strong level of analytical skills, numeracy and strong financial understanding
  • Creativity and critical thinking
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Readiness for taking action and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills
  • Intercultural competence for being able to work with people from different cultures
