Job summary

Grade GResponsible for supporting the strategy development for products/offers/categories for a specific market, assisting with implementation activities, creating the customer value proposition, developing the communications plan and ensuring alignment with business priorities and requirements.

The country Service & Maintenance Manager will work closely with the PU and country Service and Maintenance, Brand and Comms, Growth Unit and Sales teams to own, develop, and execute the activation plan for for our offers & brands within each channel, leveraging knowledge about customers, competitors and trends in the lubricants market as well as tangential categories.
The role will lead execution of channel marketing programmes to and is responsible for the delivery of volume, turnover, gross margin and market share targets.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for the delivery of Volume, Turnover, Gross Margin and Market Share targets across Service & Maintenance channels in the market.
  • Accountable for ensuring the country/market develops Service & Maintenance marketing plans in partnership with PU and Global Service & marketing teams
  • Working with the PU Service & Maintenance team, develops and owns Service & Maintenance marketing plans for the country across all product and channel brands to finalize activation plans leveraging global programmes wherever possible
  • Leads implementation of the global SERVICE & MAINTENANCE strategy in the country, leveraging SERVICE & MAINTENANCE best practice toolkits to drive penetration, advocacy, execution of Castrol Branded Workshop Offer, and distributor Capability for winning in indirect RTM sector across Cars, CVO & Bikes
  • Supports development of eCommerce where relevant / assigned
  • Works closely with PU and country Service and Maintenance, Brand & Communications, Growth Unit and Sales teams and RTM partners to design the right mix of activation models
  • Leads the execution and deployment of agreed marketing programmes in the country
  • Ensures accurate and timely delivery of all programmes and initiatives and is accountable for activation KPIs across the Service & Maintenance area
  • Accountable for the management of all existing channel offers / touchpoints as assigned in the country, including digital
  • Contributes to the PU strategy development for Service & Maintenance channels in line with global strategies to meet volume, turnover and gross margin targets
  • Is a “go to” market expert for the country, supporting the organizational understanding of the customers, competitors and commercial dynamics in the market. Act as “voice of customer” for the market in support of offer development or market insight initiatives
  • Oversees regular reviews of effectiveness of programmes and directs changes to annual plans and programmes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing with minimum 5 years in a managerial role in marketing
  • Experience of working in complex and challenging global organizations
  • Marketing planning, project management and performance monitoring
  • Brand management and insight development
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend media plans
  • Ability to successfully build enduring and productive relationships with colleagues from a broad range of disciplines
  • Experience in B2B and B2C marketing activation & campaign execution
  • Experience of working with agencies
  • Experience in service offer beyond products
