Statutory Senior Analyst - German-speaking

In this role You will:

  • Preparing local GAAP compliant financial statements for the respective entities allocated.
  • Understanding underlying accounts and business developments for audit support.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for statutory-related queries.
  • Providing ongoing alignment and support for statutory reporting and related departments.
  • Ensuring timely resolution of all queries.
  • Monitoring changes in statutory and group legislation and policies.
  • Carrying out balance sheet reconciliation work for entities supported.
  • Collaborating with teams to understand priorities and deliver against them.

What You will need to be successful:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in the field of Financial Accounting
  • Proficiency in English and intermediate-level of German is a requirement
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Excel knowledge
  • Language and interpersonal skills with particular focus on client responsiveness.
  • Strong level of analytical skills, numeracy and strong financial understanding.
