Job summary

Grade HResponsible for supporting supply chain operations through the HSSE-assured, cost-optimized and competitive selection of supply sources to cover requirements, liaising with internal coordinators and third party supply partners to optimize the supply schedule and assist efforts to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products.

We are now seeking a Supply Planning Manager to join our fantastic team at Castrol!

About the Role

  • Manage the Production Scheduling, Distribution and Material Planning requirements for our manufactured items.

  • Develop aggregated supply and inventory plans, optimizing supply against demand in order to balance and deliver business targets across service, inventory, cost and other business priorities.

  • Integrate closely with procurement, technical, sales and marketing stakeholders, communicating and managing supply gaps.

  • Continuous improvement of the total health of the supply chain.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification (preferably engineering, logistics, business or supply chain management)

  • Prior experience in Supply Planning

  • Ability to build and drive a strong customer centric culture across the team

  • Understanding of demand forecasting and how it translates into supply plans.

  • Prior experience with ERP platforms (preferably JDE)

  • Ability to influence stakeholders to get best business outcomes.

  • Intermediate+ knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and PowerBI
