Tax Operations Analyst!

In this role You will:

  • Delivering indirect operational support to local businesses and countries within the Tax Compliance Centre
  • Resolving data integrity and application issues in the internal VAT reporting application
  • Troubleshooting digital worker (Bot) task failures during VAT return preparation.
  • Provide local support for timely VAT, EC Sales, Intrastat, and other indirect tax reporting processes
  • Managing end-to-end data integrity for the local GBS Tax Team, ensuring accurate and complete data for indirect tax reporting
  • Monitoring and ensuring Bots complete tasks on time, analyze failures, and coordinate with Compliance and Automation teams for resolution
  • Resolving issues and queries in collaboration with IT teams, ensuring compliance with local tax requirements
  • Keeping documentation up-to-date and suggesting process improvements to enhance efficiency and control
  • Analyzing data reconciliations and manage query resolution independently
  • Supporting VAT GL reconciliation, turnover reconciliation, and balance sheet integrity processes
  • Working with IT&S teams on ERP system updates, conduct regression testing, and manage release communications

What You will need to be successful:

  • Relevant degree with 2-3 years of experience in Finance/IT&S.
  • Strong understanding of indirect taxes (VAT, Excise Duties).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, numeracy, and financial understanding.
  • Customer- and service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a proactive attitude.
  • Confident and assertive communication skills.
  • Proficiency in O365 tools, especially Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Experience with database and application management is a plus
