Trading Excellence Lead fixed-term (maternity cover 24 months)


In this role You will:
  • Manage SAP change request portfolio
    • Understand the service tower and process area strategy and drive related SAP CR initiatives
    • Identify and deliver change management of SAP CR ideas focusing on performance, efficiency, and control
    • End-to-end track and report progress of SAP CR-s in the pipe, from CR opening to system delivery
    • Work with GBS, T&S, and SAP DevOps tags to ensure system changes are progressing as expected
  • Deliver automated reports and MI solutions
    • Understanding team SLAs and with a sound experience via the monthly/quarterly/year-end performance cycles be able to do the initial sense check of the results.
    • Working with GBS IST T&S team members to develop a suite of performance management and monitoring tools for all IST T&S processes, utilizing automation where possible
    • Using the latest technology eg.: PowerBI, O365
  • Deliver enduring CI program and elements of service tower strategy
    • Understand the service tower strategy and drive related CI initiatives
    • Identify and deliver or provide Coaching of CI ideas focusing on performance, efficiency, and control
    • Track and report progress of CI projects aligning with service tower strategy
    • Maintain project portfolio with GBS T&S leadership team
  • Review and optimize processes
    • Ability to review and analyze complex data to identify issues and trends. May conduct root causes analysis
    • Working with GBS IST T&S team members to ensure processes are standardized where possible, identifying and remediating risks and inefficiencies
    • Execute portions of projects/processes, including resource coordination and progress tracking for own work area.
  • Optimize systems and reporting tools
    • Working with GBS and T&S tags ensure systems are operating as expected and identifying opportunities for improvement/automation
    • Work with T&S IT&S and other digital enablement teams to evaluate planned maintenance and project system deliveries, quantifying impacts on the GBS T&S Team
    • Understand internal operations, work processes, Key Performance Indicators, and Business Scorecard metrics. Develop and own the technical aspects of the latest MI solution
    • Prepare and initiate proposals on the direction recommended for achieving our short-term reporting objectives
    • being the focal point of queries coming from operational teams related to O365 applications; PowerBI and Excel
    • Understanding and improving reporting ways of working

We have the following requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in the financial/IT field
    • Active knowledge of SAP system change life-cycle
    • 3-4 years of Business Service Centre experience in reporting/automation
    • Applying programming languages
    • Using Microsoft Applications
    • Proven track record of applying program languages and MI platforms (preferably Excel Macro and PowerBI)
    • Track record of delivering at least a small-scale CI initiative
    • Project management mindset, proactive and innovative approach
    • Fluent in English
    • Knowledge of financial and commercial processes
    • Previous experience in an operational role
    • An understanding of oil or gas's physical lifecycle
    • CI accreditation is a pro (Six Sigma Green Belt)
