The MSCO / Franchise Training Coordinator of Operations Support reports to the Field Training Team Lead and supports ROO curriculum development and coordinating ROO training for all new Franchisees, Operational Designees, Store Managers, Multi-Site Contract Operators, Designated Premises Managers, Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Franchise Business Consultants (FBCs).

The Training Coordinator is accountable for facilitating and delivering virtual, face to face, and online training courses for the audiences listed above. In addition, the Training Coordinator will lead/assist with the development of training materials, programs and pilots, conduct virtual meetings, coordinate and develop training sites, and evaluate training results for the ROO.

Essential Job Functions (Responsible to)

  • Accountable for coordination and timely delivery of Franchisee, Franchise Store Manager, Operational Designee, Multi-Site Contract Operators, Designated Premises Managers, RSMs and FBCs.
  • Coordinate scheduling and setup for virtual, online, and face to face training sessions.
  • Develop At Site Experience (ASE) training sites, provide train the trainer instruction / coaching for ASE trainers, conduct periodic ASE trainer meetings to facilitate learning and transfer of best practices among ASE sites.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Franchise Business Advisors, and subject matter experts to develop curriculums that support training objectives.
  • Develop course support tools, such as PowerPoint presentations, participant workbooks, assessments, job aids, tests, etc.
  • Initiate and review program objectives, evaluations, test results, follow through on results, and participant / instructor feedback on training effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain learning / performance management information on department’s shared drives / folders
  • Create and maintain training records and reports.
  • Support FBA territory meetings by delivering targeted training topics that contribute to current business initiatives
Ideally home based out of the Northwest with travel required to meet operators

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Experience
  • 3 years experience in face to face and/or virtual facilitation.
  • 3 years experience in curriculum writing and designing learning tracks.
  • 1-2 years experience with administration of a Learning Management System.
  • Experience with e-learning course authoring tools (such as Articulate).
  • Prior experience in convenience retail or related industry.

  • Strong ability to effectively build relationships with RSMs, FBCs, and ASE trainers.

  • Familiarity with the application of technology in support of employee learning and development
