  • Using an earlier version of the bp Target Neutral Protocol, Castrol enabled more than 200 auto dealers, in 14 countries to go carbon neutral by using carbon neutral lubricants and reducing and offsetting the emissions from their operations.  It works like this:
  • Dealers can become carbon neutral businesses by reducing their emissions and then offsetting residual emissions through the bp Target Neutral service. This can help them to build their reputation amongst climate conscious customers.
  • Dealers can offer customers the chance to offset their own carbon emissions – for a set mileage – within the sale or service of vehicles.
