ScotWind leasing

bp and Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (EnBW - one of the largest energy supply companies in Germany and Europe) are planning to jointly bid in the upcoming CES ScotWind licensing round.

bp has a strong and well-established local presence in Scotland having been a leader in the development of oil and gas in the region, with over forty years of experience working in the challenging North Sea environment.

EnBW has demonstrated its offshore wind strength in designing, constructing and operating offshore wind farms for over ten years starting in 2009 with Baltic 1, Germany’s first commercial wind farm. EnBW now has nearly 1,000 MW of offshore wind in operation and many GWs of international offshore wind projects at various stages of development.

bp and EnBW bring their own unique capabilities and strengths to this consortium and keen to hear from our suppliers.

Suppliers are invited to register their early interest through this form, if your services are of interest our team members will get in touch to arrange a meeting. We are particularly interested in hearing from suppliers who can contribute to Scottish local content in our future project(s) thereby increasing Scottish socio-economic benefit:

  1. based in Scotland
  2. who have significant operations in Scotland
  3. who plan to establish/relocate their base, or operations, in/to Scotland
  4. interested in transitioning their services or operations from other sectors to offshore wind
