We’re BP Global Business Services working as an integrated part of BP. We define, own, source and operate global end-to-end processes, partnering with BP’s diverse functions and businesses, in one standardized way, across our global centres

At GBS Europe we are a highly-skilled and diverse team of more than 2,000 professionals, based in Budapest and Szeged in Hungary, and a finance team in Istanbul, Turkey.

BP’s operations depend heavily on business processes, services and complex systems. These processes and systems relate to BP’s financial activities, customer and procurement services, and HR and tax operations. They also include BP’s energy-related specialist areas, such as maintenance technical services and hydrocarbon value chain accounting. As Global Business Services we provide business solutions, lead technical changes and projects and provide a better customer experience to BP’s businesses and functions.

We deliver additional value in core areas of risk management, compliance and control, in improving cash and working capital, in process excellence and standardisation. We’re focused and professional. Our modern office in Szeged opened in 2017, making Hungary one of BP’s largest employee locations – with more than 2,000 staff based in the country.
