Seatbelts fastened: F1 arrived at BP in Hungary
In July, BP in Hungary hosted Carlos Sainz, a Renault Sport Formula One™ driver. Part of a Castrol Renault Sport Formula One™ experience, Carlos met with colleagues who also had the chance to get tickets to the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix 2018.
Carlos, who joined Renault Sport Formula One™ Team in October 2017, talked about his perspectives on career planning and continuous development, while sharing interesting insights of being a Formula One driver.
During the last week in July, BP colleagues got to test themselves and experience what it’s like to be a F1 driver. In our Budapest and Szeged offices, we placed a playseat and invited colleagues to have a virtual Formula One experience.
Besides meeting Carlos and experiencing Formula One driving, 60 lucky BP colleagues had the opportunity to attend the Formula One Grand Prix in Hungary.
This is the second year BP in Hungary has offered a Castrol Renault Sport Formula One™ experience to staff. In January 2017, BP and Castrol announced a partnership to support Renault Sport Formula One™ Team’s ambition to lay claim to the F1™ World Championship. BP and Castrol are the official fuel and lubricants provider, through the BP Ultimate and Castrol EDGE brands.
