This is your place, where you can unleash your energy whilst getting inspired by the BP culture
Throughout spring BP colleagues have taken part in a Mountain Challenge programme - living our values and unleashing their energy. BP hosted Dávid Klein, famed mountain climber in Hungary and Szilárd Suhajda in March. Dávid and Szilárd shared their experiences in excelling in their sport with BP colleagues, They talked about the importance of goal-setting, teamwork, persistence, ethical behavior and adaptation in their everyday lives – common themes to the culture at BP in Hungary.
Later in April and May, BP colleagues joined Szilárd for a trekking tour first in Börzsöny and then in Pilis. More than 150 colleagues spent a Saturday together in the nature, exploring the beauty of the Hungarian hills and experiencing how diverse people can form unique teams, strive to achieve a goal together and feel proud and celebrate when reaching it.
The brave and luckiest 50 colleagues could join a trekking tour in Austria at the end of May 2018, climbing to the summit of Schneeberg again guided by Szilárd.
The Mountain Challenge programme has taught us how to respect the nature and each other, how diverse people can form a community and work as one team, how we can celebrate success and be proud of an extraordinary achievement and last, but not least how fun is also part of all the experience we have together.Szilvia Tóth - Office Coordinator, BP in Hungary
