Jeans for Dreams

The Jeans for Dreams initiative was sparked by an idea to raise funds for charitable organisations and giving employees a bit of fun while doing so.

The idea was simple – employees could wear jeans every Wednesday, and in return for “dressing down” they could contribute any amount they wanted towards the Jeans for Dreams fund.

The initiative has gained much popularity since its inception in 2011, and a jeans day on Wednesdays have become somewhat of a culture for BP employees stationed in the Bangsar South City campus and Axiata Tower office site ever since.

Over the years various charitable organisations have benefitted from the collection funds from the Jeans for Dreams initiative such as Rumah Kirtarsh and the Pride Foundation, in addition to relief and aid organisations such as Mercy Malaysia during incidents of natural disasters.
