Debi holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree from Canterbury University and started her career with BP in 1997 as an engineer. Since that time, Debi has held a number of roles for BP both in NZ and overseas in the areas of sales, marketing and strategy. Debi returned home to New Zealand in 2012 to take on the role of General Manager – Fuels and Marketing and, more recently, she held the position of General Manager – Retail and Assets, where she oversaw BP’s company-owned retail network. Debi is also a Director of BP New Zealand Limited.
Adrian has a finance background and originally joined BP in 1991 as an accountant. Shortly thereafter, Adrian took on more operational roles both within New Zealand and internationally, including Australia and the UK. Adrian most recently headed up BP New Zealand’s Supply and Distribution business. In this role, Adrian was involved in managing the import, storage and distribution of BP fuels. He was responsible for a safe, efficient and reliable supply chain and in enabling competitively priced BP products to be marketed throughout New Zealand. Adrian is also a Director of BP New Zealand Limited.
Budi is a qualified Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA Australia) and holds a Master of Business Administration from RMIT University. Budi joined BP Australia in 2001 and has held a number of finance roles for BP Australia. Prior to joining BP New Zealand, Budi was a head of Finance and Knowledge Management for BP Kwinana Refinery in Western Australia. Budi supports BP New Zealand’s business performance and ensures that transactions and results are recorded, reported and forecasted with integrity and transparency and in compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards. Budi is also a Director of BP New Zealand Limited.
Courtney joined BP in 2017 and has worked in the oil industry for over 15 years. Courtney has experience across Supply, Commercial, Retail and Lubricants both in New Zealand and Internationally. In the Marketing Supply role Courtney is responsible for safe, efficient, and reliable fuel supply to BP's customers. Courtney is also a Director of BP New Zealand Limited.
Christine Etherington joined BP New Zealand as Human Resources Business Partner in September 2019 to lead the NZ HR team.
Originally from the UK, Christine’s career has seen her work in HR roles across the food, automotive and rail sectors.
Since relocating to New Zealand in 2015, Christine has worked in senior HR roles with both the Auckland District Health Board and with Auckland Council.
Haley joined BP in 2002 as a graduate trainee having completed a Bachelor of Laws & Bachelor of Commerce (Economics). Haley has worked for BP both locally and internationally across a diverse set of roles in Supply-chain, Trading & Sales. She returned in 2009 from the UK to as the Supply & Stocks Manager and has held a number of safety & operational leadership roles across Terminals & Logistics since her return. As General Manager B2B Sales & Reseller she is responsible for our sales to businesses offer including our fuelcard, truckstop network and distributor partners and wholesale supply to our Dealer partners. Haley is also a Director of BP New Zealand Limited.
Leigh joined BP in 2014 heading up the NZ marketing function, and moved into the Corporate and External Affairs role in 2017. With a Bachelor of Management Studies (hons) majoring in marketing and communications Leigh has held a number of positions in NZ, the Caribbean and the UK. Prior to joining BP she spent time in the telecommunications and television industries in marketing, communication and strategy roles. The main purpose of Leigh’s role is to manage BP New Zealand’s profile with a variety of stakeholder groups including the media, government and community.
Rachael is BP New Zealand’s Legal Counsel, responsible for advising on all of BP New Zealand’s operations including refining and marketing, the Fuels value chain, Air BP and BP’s wholesale and retail operations. Rachael joined BP in 2015 and has spent several years working in the in-house legal team of a large multi-national based in New Zealand, London and Sydney.
Wade leads the HSSE (Health, Safety, Environmental, Security) function. Wade is a qualified and seasoned health and safety professional with experience managing health and safety in some of New Zealand’s most successful organisations within the oil and gas, engineering and manufacturing sectors. Wade brings a particular passion and energy around positively influencing the safety culture of an organisation.
