We began our association with paralympic sport in 2008, when we became a partner of the London 2012 Games. Since then we have supported a number of high-profile events in para-sports, such as the 2015 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships, 2015 and 2017 IPC Para Athletics World Championships, and most recently the Berlin 2018 World Para Athletics Europeans Championships.
We have also supported dual-format events, where para-sports has been integrated into the competition schedule of able-bodied sports, including the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Baku 2015 European Games and most recently the 2018 Anniversary Games at the London Stadium.
Irma Khetsuriani, leader of the Georgian national para-fencing team and BP ambassador, won the World Champion title in the B-Group in November 2017
We are an international partner of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). In addition, we support a number of national paralympic teams including in the UK, US, Angola, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Georgia, Germany, Indonesia, Senegal, Singapore and Trinidad & Tobago.
We also proudly support some of the world’s best athletes.
We believe the human spirit is the most powerful energy of all.
The courage to achieve what matters most and be the very best you can be. It’s what drives David Behre and all para athletes to go further and overcome every challenge in their path.
