Colin Allan has been appointed to the role of vice president finance for the Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye (AGT) region effective 1 July 2022.

In this role, Colin becomes a member of the AGT regional leadership team and will be responsible for all commercial matters related to bp’s oil, gas and renewables businesses in AGT, developing strategy and managing financial performance.

Prior to that, Colin was a commercial manager for bp in AGT, where he played a key role in the negotiation of the landmark ACG Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) extension in 2017 and the subsequent sanctioning of the Azeri Central East (ACE) project.

Colin has been known for his strategic insight, ability to build relationships and commitment to the development of others. Colin holds a degree in modern history from the University of Oxford.

Colin is married and is a father of three daughters.
