Assessment and inspections

Provide assurance to BP businesses and associates 

The marine team is responsible for inspection and assessment of vessels and terminals. The team will write a report following their inspections. Based on the facts of the report, the team will make a decision whether or not to approve a certain vessel, terminal or barge.

Key accountabilities:

• Assessment and inspection of oil, gas and chemical vessels and barges
• Vessel and barge manager assessments
• Assessment of BP managed and third party strategic marine terminals
• Contractor management of ship inspectors
  
• Undertake assessments of bespoke marine equipment
