What is Invigorate®

Invigorate® is BP’s exclusive proprietary detergent additive found in all three grades of BP gasoline with Invigorate®–Regular, Silver (midgrade), and Amoco Ultimate® (premium).

 

Fuel additives are good! In fact, the US government requires a minimum amount of deposit-control additive to be present in all US fuels – but all grades of BP gasoline with Invigorate® go beyond these minimum standards in an effort to provide additional benefits to drivers who use our fuel.

What does Invigorate® do?

An improved version of BP gasoline with Invigorate® was introduced in April 2016, and we’re proud to say this version is our best fuel ever–with versatility for both conventional port fuel injector engine technology, and emerging direct injection engine technology. It has 10 times better protection against intake valve deposits than ordinary, minimum-detergency fuels. Keeping intake valves clean is important because dirty deposits from ordinary fuels that form in engines can lead to a variety of problems–hesitation, rough starts, loss in fuel economy, and increased emissions to name a few.

 

BP gasoline with Invigorate® not only helps prevent deposits from forming in the first place, but can even help clean deposits left by minimum detergency fuels –giving drivers more miles with every tank¹.

Additionally, BP gasoline with Invigorate® protects against sludge which can build up over time in your engine’s motor oil system, preventing oil flow to critical engine parts and can result in catastrophic engine failure².

How was Invigorate® developed?

BP gasoline with Invigorate® was developed with rigorous and extensive testing by fuel engineers, covering over 60 different industry approved test methods and thousands of hours in vehicles and engines. We tested our best ever fuel in conventional (port fuel injector) and emerging (direct injection) engine technology; in fleets of cars and trucks with engines big and small; and in engine test stands incorporating ASTM, industry standard and new, cutting edge test procedures.

Where can I find Invigorate®?

BP gasoline with Invigorate® can only be found at BP stations. Use our station finder to locate the BP nearest you.

What is Amoco Ultimate with Invigorate® and how could it benefit my vehicle?

No premium gas gets better mileage than Amoco Ultimate® with Invigorate®*. 


Amoco Ultimate® with Invigorate® is BP’s premium fuel. Amoco Ultimate with Invigorate® is not a typical premium fuel whose only difference is octane number. Even cars whose manufacturer recommends regular fuel may see a benefit from using Amoco Ultimate with Invigorate®. This is because it contains our highest level of Invigorate® additive–meaning it can help clean a dirty engine even faster than BP Regular or BP Silver. Filling up with Amoco Ultimate with Invigorate® can also provide 20 times better protection against deposit formation when compared to ordinary fuel, helping to give engines the best protection that BP can offer.** Amoco Ultimate with Invigorate® delivers instantaneous cleaning and protection*** to give you unbeatable mileage.

 

Many vehicles recommend or require premium fuel because their engines were designed to benefit from higher octane. For these vehicles, Amoco Ultimate® with Invigorate® delivers more power and quicker acceleration compared to regular grade gasoline. The difference can often be quite noticeable. Does your vehicle benefit from higher octane? Check your owner’s manual to confirm.

What is TOP TIER™, and does BP’s gasoline with Invigorate® meet TOP TIER™ detergent gasoline standards?

Eight of the world's top automakers, BMW, General Motors, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and Audi recognized that the current EPA minimum detergent requirements do not go far enough to ensure optimal engine performance, so they created TOP TIER™ which raised the bar to an additive level that is better suited for vehicle performance.

 

BP is a registered TOP TIER™ retailer and Amoco Ultimate with Invigorate® goes one step further by surpassing Top Tier treat rate levels.

Does BP gasoline have ethanol in it?

By federal and state regulation, nearly all gasoline sold by retailers in the US has up to 10% ethanol blended into it to comply with the US Renewable Fuel Standards as part of the Energy Independence and Security Act. A small amount of BP stations may sell ethanol-free gasoline (which is labelled accordingly), but this is typically used in off-road vehicles like ATVs or boats.

What is Flex Fuel / E85 fuel? Should I use it?

Flex Fuel (also known as E85) is a gasoline-ethanol blend containing anywhere from 51 to 83% ethanol, and can only be used in Flexible Fuel Vehicles (FFVs). At the dispenser flex fuel is clearly labelled “E85” and includes signage that cautions drivers to use this fuel only if they have a FFV vehicle. Check your owner’s manual to confirm whether you have a FFV vehicle that can run on Flex Fuel.

What is BP Diesel®?

BP Diesel® is a quality fuel for light duty diesel trucks and cars. It can also be used in all on- or off-road heavy duty trucks, as well as automotive, transit bus, marine, and stationary diesel engine applications that require ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD).

 

BP Diesel® is routinely tested for compliance with ASTM D975, including sulfur content and lubricity requirements. Like all our fuels, BP Diesel® is backed by our BP Fuel Guarantee.

 

BP Diesel® may contain up to 5% biomass component. This is standard for most diesel fuel sold in the US and does not require any special labelling.Please refer to your owner’s manual to learn whether your vehicle requires diesel.

What are biodiesel blends?

Biodiesel blends are standard diesel fuels blended with a biomass component derived from plant oil and animal fats. Just as the government requires ethanol to be blended into gasoline, they also require or promote the blending of renewable biomass components into diesel fuels.

 

When biomass components are blended at levels between 5 and 20%, the FTC requires that all dispensers be clearly labelled with the following:

Biodiesel blend

Many diesel vehicles can run properly on biodiesel blends. However, there are a number of manufacturers whose vehicles do not recommend blends greater than 5%. Please consult your owner’s manual to learn if biodiesel blends greater than 5% are compatible with your vehicle.

I have a product quality concern. What should I do?
The BP & Amoco Fuels Guarantee is more than just a statement. In the unlikely event that you experience fuel system trouble due to the use of BP or Amoco branded fuels, we’ll reimburse you for the repairs. Simply call us at 1-800-333-3991 to report the problem. You’ll also need to provide your fuel receipt and mechanic’s repair bill. We’ll review your claim and any BP or Amoco fuel-related repairs will be reimbursed to you.

BP has 2 credit cards: BP Credit Card and BP Visa® Credit Card. Both allow you to get cents off per gallon rewards that are taken automatically at the pump!

Do I have to pay an annual fee for the BP Credit Card or BP Visa® Credit Card?

No, there is no annual fee* for either card.

How do I apply for a BP credit card?
You can pick up an application from your local BP or Amoco station or fill out an online application.
When will I receive my card in the mail?
Once you submit your completed application online, you will receive an immediate decision. If applying by mail, please allow additional time for processing. Once approved, it takes 7-10 business days to receive your BP credit card.

Is the grocery reward program at BP ending?
No! The grocery fuel point programs are staying the same! Keep earning fuel points at your favorite grocery store, and redeem them at your BP or Amoco station. 

Pick 'n Save Fresh Perks questions

What is the Fresh Perks Program?

Pick ‘n Save, Copps or Metro Market consumers are able to swipe their Fresh Perks card or enter their phone number at the pump, using their Loyalty ID to enable use of their grocery rewards points for discounts on BP fuel. Consumers who spend $100 inside a Pick ‘n Save, Copps, or Metro Market store will receive a 10-cent reward to be used for BP fuel at participating BP sites. Consumers are able to accumulate their fuel rewards and redeem up to $1 off per gallon, on up to 35 gallons per fill up. A consumer who has not earned a grocery reward may swipe their card or enter their phone number to receive a flat discount of 3 cents off per gallon on their purchase.

What if I only spend $50 at the grocery store?

Pick ‘n Save will keep track of total money spent on groceries and issue a 10-cent reward upon reaching a $100 threshold. Consumers who have not reached this threshold will not receive their 10-cent reward.

I have not earned a 10-cent reward but the pump is indicating a 3-cent discount. Why?

We still want to reward you even though you have not reached your $100 threshold. Consumers who have no reward from Pick ‘n Save will automatically receive 3 cents off per gallon for swiping their Fresh Perks card or entering their phone number.

If I have a question about rewards earned on my account what should I do?
You may call 1-800-KRO-GERS (1-800-576-4377) if you have questions about what you’ve earned. You may also visit your local Pick ‘n Save grocery store.
Are these rewards stackable? I just received 30 cents off per gallon.

Yes. You may save your reward and continue to earn via Pick ‘n Save and redeem up to $1 per gallon.

Do the Pick ‘n Save rewards expire?

Fuel points earned in the current month will expire at the end of the next month. Fuel points do not combine across months. Each month is a separate accumulation period. Fuel points earned in separate months cannot be combined in the same transaction.

Can I use my phone number at the pump?

Yes. Your fuel points can be accessed by entering your phone number or by swiping your Fresh Perks Rewards card. To enter your Fresh Perks phone number or alternate ID, follow the below steps:

How do I track my points?

With the “My Account” feature on picknsave.com, you can see how many fuel points you’ve accumulated, how many you’ve redeemed, how you earned them, when they expire and more. You can also see your previous month’s fuel points. Or, track your fuel points with the Pick ‘n Save Mobile App.

How do I sign up for a Pick ‘n Save card?

At the local Pick ‘n Save store or on the Pick ‘n Save website.

What is the maximum number of gallons I can purchase with my fuel points?

Fuel points apply to a maximum of 35 gallons on one purchase of fuel at a BP gas station.

Is this program part of BPme Rewards?
No. This program is separate from BPme Rewards. You must be a part of the Pick ‘n Save, Copps or Metro Market Fresh Perks loyalty program to participate.
What if I am a BPme Rewards customer and I want to use BPme Rewards?

Mariano's Fuel Points questions

What is the Mariano's Rewards Fuel Points Program?

Mariano's Rewards members can redeem their grocery rewards at participating BP stations for discounts on fuel. Consumers can redeem their Mariano's Rewards Fuel Points at BP by entering their Mariano's alternate ID, generally the phone number associated with their account, or swiping their Mariano's Rewards card at the pump. For every $100 consumers spend at Mariano's using their Mariano's Rewards card, they will earn a 10 cents off per gallon reward to be redeemed at BP. Consumers are able to accumulate their fuel rewards and redeem up to $1 off per gallon (up to 35 gallons). Consumers who have not earned enough Mariano's Rewards Fuel Points for a discount will still receive an instant discount of 3 cents off per gallon.

What if I only spend $50 at the grocery store?

You can also see your previous month's fuel points.

How do I sign up for a Mariano's card?

On the Mariano's website or at your local Mariano's store.

What is the Harris Teeter Fuel Points Program?

Consumers can earn fuel points by shopping at Harris Teeter using their VIC Card and redeem them at BP for discounts on fuel! Consumers can redeem their Harris Teeter Fuel Points at BP by entering their VIC Card alternate ID, generally the phone number associated with their account. You can save $.10 per gallon for every 100 Harris Teeter Fuel Points redeemed. Consumers can accumulate their fuel rewards and redeem up to $1 off per gallon (up to 35 gallons).

How do I redeem my Harris Teeter Fuel Points at BP?
  1. Press "Cancel" 
  2. Enter your VIC Card alternate ID, generally the phone number associated with your account
  3. Press "Enter"

If I have enough Harris Teeter Fuel Points for a reward, do I have to use them?

No. You may save your rewards and redeem up to 1000 points ($1.00 off per gallon) in a single transaction.

Do the Harris Teeter Fuel Points expire?

Driver Rewards Transition

What happened to the Driver Rewards program?
The Driver Rewards program has ended, and we launched a new rewards program on 10/1/2019 called BPme Rewards. If you would like to participate in the new program, please download the BPme mobile app from the Apple or Google Play store to get started. If you have any concerns about the ending of Driver Rewards, please contact our support team at 1-877-852-3025.
I was a member of Driver Rewards, can I get BPme Rewards now?
Yes! Although your Driver Rewards account will not automatically convert to a BPme Rewards account, you can definitely participate! Download the BPme mobile app from the Apple or Google Play store to get started.
What happened to my Driver Rewards balance?

How do I sign up for BPme Rewards
You can download the BPme mobile app from the Apple or Google Play stores on your phone. From there, once you finish registration through the app, you will be signed up for BPme Rewards, and can begin saving on your BP or Amoco fuel purchases right away!
Is there a fee to join BPme Rewards
No, there is no fee to join BPme Rewards.
How do I sign up for BPme Rewards if I don't have an email address or mobile phone number?
You will need to have a mobile phone to download the BPme mobile app to register for BPme Rewards. You will also need to establish a valid email address to use during registration. We require all BPme Rewards members to have a valid email address and phone number so we can ensure all important messages about BPme Rewards can reach you, and to ensure your account stays secure and associated to you only. 
I don't want to download the app, how can I participate?
To participate in the BPme Rewards program, you will need to download BPme and create an account. If you would like to receive fuel discounts without joining the rewards program, you can join our SMS offers program, where we will distribute monthly promotional codes that can be used for a fuel discount along with any payment method you prefer. To join, text REWARDS to 38831, and reply Y to be signed up for offers.

What is the BPme Rewards offer?
When you download BPme and register for BPme Rewards, you will immediately begin to get 5 cents off per gallon on every fuel purchase through the following month. After that, you have the opportunity to keep your 5 cent per gallon reward on all fuel purchases by spending $100 on fuel in a calendar month. 
How do I keep the 5 cent per gallon reward?
You will need to spend at least $100 on fuel at BP or Amoco stations in a calendar month. Once you reach $100, you will start saving 5 cents per gallon on all fuel purchases through the following month.
How do I redeem my BPme Rewards?
BPme Rewards are automatically redeemed on fuel purchases at BP or Amoco. If you have an active reward, it will be redeemed automatically on your next fuel purchase. No action is needed on your part to get the discount.
How do I know my BPme Rewards has been applied?
There are several ways to see your rewards history. Following each fuel purchase made using the BPme mobile app, you will receive a mobile receipt, either by email or in your app, which will show the savings applied to the fuel purchase. You can also receive a printed receipt for non-mobile purchases which will also show your savings applied. Finally, if you check the Rewards section in your BPme app, you can see a list of transaction history showing the amount saved on each fuel purchase.
What is the $100 fuel spend threshold?
The $100 fuel spend threshold is the monthly purchase requirement to keep the 5 cent per gallon reward on all fuel purchases each month. If you meet the $100 fuel spend in a month, you will get the 5 cent per gallon reward through the next month. 
What are Bonus Rewards?
Occasionally, BPme Rewards members will receive Bonus Rewards on top of the 5 cent BPme Reward amount. When you have an Active Bonus Reward on your account, it will be applied to your next fuel purchase.

BP credit card with BPme

I don't want to apply for a credit card, can I still participate?
Yes! You can participate in BPme Rewards without a BP Credit Card. When you download BPme, you have the ability to use any major credit or debit card or a Paypal account to set up mobile payment.
Can I use my BP Credit Card in the BPme App?
Yes! You can add your BP Visa or BP Credit Card into the BPme mobile wallet and use the card for fuel payment through BPme. When you do this, you will not only be receiving your BP Credit Card reward on every fuel purchase, but you also will be qualifying for the BPme Reward for an additional 5 cents off per gallon. 
How many BP credit cards can I add to my BPme App?
You can only have one (1) BP Credit Card (either BP Visa or BP Card) added as a payment method in your BPme App.
What is my reward when I use BP Credit Card with BPme Rewards?

BP Visa: 

If you add a BP Visa credit card to your BPme wallet, you will save 10 cents off per gallon on every fuel purchase when using the BP Visa for payment. If you meet the $100 fuel spend threshold in a month by using BPme Rewards, your BP Visa Credit Card purchases will then give you a 15 cent per gallon discount on all fuel purchases, as you have now qualified for the extra 5 cents per gallon from BPme Rewards. 


BP Credit Card: 
If you add a BP credit card in your BPme wallet, you will save 5 cents off per gallon on every fuel purchase when using the BP credit card for payment. If you meet the $100 fuel spend threshold in a month by using BPme Rewards, your BP Visa Credit Card purchases will then give you a 10 cent per gallon discount on all fuel purchases, as you have now qualified for the extra 5 cents per gallon from BPme Rewards. 

Linked cards

What does it mean to Link a card to BPme Rewards?
When you add a payment card to your BPme mobile wallet, you will get the option to Link that card to your BPme Rewards account. When you link that payment card, you are then able to use that card for fuel purchases outside of the app, either at the fuel pump or inside the c-store and your fuel purchases will still count towards BPme Rewards. Any active rewards will be used for a fuel discount, and the fuel amount purchased will count towards your $100 fuel spend threshold.
How many cards can I link to my BPme Rewards account?
There is no limit to the number of payment cards that can be added to your BPme Mobile Wallet. Additionally, there is no limit to the number of those payment cards that can be linked to the BPme Rewards account, as long as it is not already linked to another BPme Rewards account. 
Can I remove a linked card from my BPme Rewards account?
Yes. In the BPme App, you can select your payment card, and go to the Edit Page. From the Edit Page, you are able to change the link toggle from ON to OFF.
Can I link a BP Credit Card to my BPme Rewards account?
Yes! When you add a BP Credit Card to your BPme mobile wallet, you have the option to link that card for rewards outside of the app. Anytime that BP credit card is used to purchase fuel at the pump or inside the c-store, the fuel purchase will qualify for both the BP Credit Card Reward and the BPme Reward. 

General BPme Rewards Questions

Who do I contact for help?

Is BPme Rewards accepted at all sites?
The BPme Rewards program is valid at participating BP and Amoco locations which can be found using the BP Station finder.  BPme Rewards is not valid in California. You will not be able to earn or redeem Rewards at non-participating BP or Amoco stations or non-BP or non-Amoco gas stations. 
I don't want to add my own credit card to the app, can I still participate?
At this time, BPme Rewards requires fuel payment through the BPme app to receive the discount on fuel. The app accepts any major credit or debit card, as well as Paypal, as payment methods. If you would like to receive fuel discounts without joining the rewards program, you can join our SMS offer program, where we will distribute promotional codes that can be used for a fuel discount along with any payment method you prefer. How can I find out my current active reward?
When you log in to BPme, you will see your current active reward on both the home screen, and on My Rewards tab in the Rewards section. The active reward amount reflects the discount that will apply on your next fuel purchase. 
Can I combine my BPme Rewards with the local rewards program that is offered at my favorite station?

Yes you can. If you have a payment card in your BPme wallet that you have linked to your BPme Rewards account, you can use that card as payment when you are using any local loyalty programs at a gas station. If you first use the loyalty card or phone number entry for the local program, then use your linked BPme Rewards payment card, you will qualify for both programs.
How do I receive promotional offers from BP?
To receive promotions, offers, and other information from BP you will need to opt-in to at least one communications channel. When you download and register in the BPme app, you will have the option to select email or SMS as a communications channel. Additionally, any time after registration, you can edit your Account Settings in the BPme app to opt in for Email and SMS communications.
Do I have to opt in to Email or SMS?
If you would like to receive marketing communication and promotional offers related to BPme Rewards, you will need to be opted in to either Email or SMS or both. 

BPme App Questions

How can I change my account information?
To change any of our account information, please contact our helpdesk at bpconsumer@bp.com or at 1-800-333-3991 for assistance.
What if I forget my log-in information?
You can request a password change from the BPme log-in screen. Once you tap "login", there is an option for "forgot your password". This will trigger an email to the email address you have registered to your BPme account. From there you will be able to create a new password to login.
How does BPme Work?
First, BPme uses your location to securely check you in to a site. You then need to pick your pump number. We will then complete a pre-authorization with your bank, and unlock your pump so that you can start fueling! Once you've finished fueling, return the nozzle to the pump. Once back in your vehicle, you may view your receipt directly in the app. That's all, you are good to go!
What phone can I use the app on?
BPme will work on iPhones (iOS) and Android phones. Visit the Apple App Store and Google Play Store to view minimum software requirements for BPme.
Is the BPme app free?
Yes! The app is free to download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Enjoy!
Can I use BPme at every BP?
BPme is available at participating BP and Amoco locations. When you arrive at a station and open BPme, if the app's location on the top of the screen matches the site you are at and is accompanied with a mobile enabled phone icon, then that site is available for BPme use. To locate the BP or Amoco nearest to you that offers BPme - simply go to Station Finder and filter on 'BPme Enabled'.
Will the app use up a lot of my battery life?
The app has been designed to minimize battery usage.
How much data will it use?
The app has been designed to minimize data usage.
What price will I pay for my fuel?
The price will be the same as if you were to pay in the normal way. Our fuel prices are displayed on the entrance to the site and at all of our pumps too. 
What price will I pay if I use a debit card with BPme?
Fuel prices are displayed on the entrance to the site and at all of our pumps. When using BPme to purchase fuel, you will always be charged the stated credit card price. To receive any exception prices (debit card pricing or discounts for specific credit card brands) that are locally offered by select stations, you can use your linked payment card to receive special pricing and qualify for BPme Rewards.
What happens if I have no signal on my phone?
The app needs at least 3G signal to work, or needs to be connected to WiFi. If you don't have a strong enough signal at a site, please fill up and pay at the pump or in the store. You can also use a linked payment card from your BPme app to qualify for BPme Rewards on the fuel purchase.
If my phone cuts out or 'dies', can I log into my BPme from another person's phone to pay for the fuel?
Yes, you can log into BPme from another smartphone. For your security, you will need to re-add your payment card(s) on this new device. We advise that you make sure you log out at the completion of your transaction.
Where can I use BPme?
To locate the BP or Amoco stations nearest to you that offers BPme - simply go to Station Finder and filter on 'BPme Enabled'. You will then only see the sites where you can use BPme.
Can I cancel the transaction?
A transaction can be cancelled through the app until the app has confirmed that the pump has been authorized. After that point you can cancel on the pump screen before you lift the pump handle. As a safety measure, the app will automatically cancel the transaction if you haven't lifted the pump handle within 45 seconds.
How do I view the summary for my transactions?
Your transaction history is saved in BPme and can be viewed in your Purchase History section of the app. To view them, go to the Account section from the main menu.
What should I do with my phone while I am fueling?
For safety, please keep your phone in the vehicle when you're filling up to avoid any distractions. Never leave the pump unattended.
My phone died during the transaction. What happens now?
If we have given you the all clear to start fueling, then you can carry on as normal and your receipt will be available when you next open the app or within your receipt history. If you hadn't received the message to begin fueling - your transaction will have been cancelled and your card will not have been charged (although it may have been pre-authorized so a pending transaction may appear on your bank account). The pending transaction may take up to 7 days to clear, depending on your bank. 
The app froze during the transaction. What happens now?
If we have given you the all clear to start fueling, then you can carry on as normal and your receipt will be available when you next open the app or within your receipt history. If you hadn't received the message to begin fueling - your transaction will have been cancelled and your card will not have been charged (although it may have been pre-authorized so a pending transaction may appear on your bank account). The pending transaction may take up to 7 days to clear, depending on your bank. 
What happens after I have finished fueling?
Once you've finished fueling - you're good to go! You will see a transaction summary appear on your phone once you return to your car.
How long will my chosen pump be authorized for?
Your pump will be authorized for use for one minute, from the time the app says you can start fueling to the time you lift the nozzle. If you don't lift the nozzle within 45 seconds of the initial authorization, the transaction will be automatically cancelled, no money will be taken and you will get a notification within the app.
How do I create an account?
To create an account, download the BPme app and follow the steps to register. 
Why can't I select my pump number in BPme?
In certain instances, individual pumps may not be available for use with BPme. Where possible, please move to a different pump and try again. If you have a payment card linked through the BPme app to your BPme Rewards account, you may use that card for payment at the pump and qualify for BPme Rewards on the fuel purchase.
How do I use the app to navigate to a station?
When in the app, use Station Finder to select your preferred station. You can then tap 'Get Directions' to get directions in either Google Maps or Apple Maps.
Who do I contact if I am having issues with the BPme App?
If you are having issues with the BPme app, please contact us at 1-8--333-3991 and a representative will assist you. Additionally, you can provide feedback in the Account section of BPme.
How do I select grade of fuel?
Selecting your grade of fuel will work the same as it does today, you will make the grade selection on the dispenser before removing the nozzle.
What do I do if the app doesn't recognize my location, or has the incorrect location?
If you are having issues with the BPme app recognizing your location, verify you have location services enabled in your phone's settings. If the issue continues, please contact us at 1-800-333-3991 and a representative will assist you. 

BPme Security & Settings

What happens if I lose my phone?
If your phone is lost or stolen, call your phone operator to have it stopped or wiped. For security, we do not keep your personal information or card details directly on your phone. The app requires a passcode and security question, we encourage you to protect your passcode and security question answer so nobody else should be able to use your phone to pay for fuel. Finally, as a last resort, you can always call 1-800-333-3991 if you would like your BPme account stopped.
Are you tracking me?
To ensure that we securely check you in to the correct site, we need to confirm your location using your phone's GPS signal. We will only use your location when BPme is running.

BPme Wallet & Payment

I have more than one payment card registered, can I set one as my preferred card?
Yes. Tap Account from the main menu to view your main payment card. This payment card will be your default payment card. If you wish to change your default payment card, tap the main payment card and select another payment card to be your "main payment card". 
What happens if the payment card added to BPme is cancelled?
If a payment card added to BPme is cancelled, your bank will decline the BPme transactions. If you want to continue using BPme, you will need to add your new payment card or switch to another payment method in your BPme wallet.
How do I manage my card preferences?
In Account, tapping the main payment card will bring up the list of cards in your BPme wallet. In here you can edit and remove the card. If you need to change the credit card number, you will need to remove the card and add it as a new credit card.
Can I purchase a Carwash using BPme?
Yes. When purchasing fuel, you will have the option to purchase a car wash at stations that have a car wash. If you wish to only purchase a car wash without purchasing fuel, you will need to go inside to purchase the wash or through the car wash kiosk if available.
Can I use my BP Fleet Card in BPme?
Sorry, you will not be able to use your BP Fleet Card in BPme at this time.
Can I pay for coffee and other in-store items using the app?
Unfortunately no, you are only able to pay for fuel and car washes using the app. If you wish to purchase any other products, you will need to pay for these in-store.
Why is there a pending amount for BP in my bank statement?
Before authorizing the pump, BPme will check with your bank to verify the payment information. The verification check may appear on your bank account as a pending purchase. Don't worry, you will only be charged for the total amount of fuel purchased. The pending transaction may take up to 7 days to clear, depending on your bank.
What payment cards do you accept?
BPme currently accepts PayPal and all major credit and debit cards including BP credit cards, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Discover. BPme currently does NOT accept fleet cards, gift cards, and pre-paid debit cards. BP continues to review support for additional payment options and will continue to work towards expanding payment options through BPme.
How do I delete a payment card from my BPme wallet?
To remove a payment card from your BPme wallet, go to Account. Tap main payment card, and on the card you'd like to remove, tap the green information "I" icon. Tap delete card.
I keep receiving an error message when I try to add my credit card in the BPme app wallet, what do I do now?
Confirm all values are correct and try again. If you have confirmed all the information is correct, you may want to try calling your card issuer to ensure there is not an issue with your account. Typically, the customer care phone number is on the back of the credit card. To contact the BP app support team, please call us at 1-800-333-3991.
Can I use my BP credit card in the BPme app?
Absolutely! Tap Account from the main menu and then tap on the "Add Credit / Debit Card" button.
I want to use Apple or Google Pay, when will this be available?
At this time, Apple and Google Pay are not accepted in the BPme App, but we are working on including this in a future release!
I want a record of my receipts, will the app provide that?
No problem! All transactions completed through BPme will have a mobile receipt available in the BPme App. In addition, after a BPme transaction we’ll automatically email you a copy of your mobile receipt to the email address you have on your Account.
I have selected the wrong pump and paid for someone else's fuel, can I get a refund?
During the pay for fuel experience, the BPme app requests that you confirm the pump prior to sending the selected payment information and enabling the pump in an effort to prevent app users from incorrectly selecting the pump number. BP is not responsible for any financial loss in the event that the wrong pump was selected.

United Partnership

Can I earn and use United MileagePlus® award miles with BPme?
No. As of October 1, 2019 you will no longer be able to earn or use United MileagePlus® award miles through BP's loyalty programs. We are working on new and exciting ways for you to earn and use your award miles at BP.

BP Grocer Partnerships

Can I use my Harris Teeter Fuel Points in the BPme app?
No, Harris Teeter fuel points cannot be redeemed in the BPme app or combined with BPme Rewards. You can redeem fuel points at your Amoco or BP station using your Harris Teeter alternate ID or phone number at the pump.
Can I use my Mariano's Fuel Points in the BPme app?
No, Mariano's fuel points cannot be redeemed in the BPme app or combined with BPme rewards. You can redeem fuel points at your Amoco or BP station by swiping your Mariano's rewards card or entering your phone number at the pump.
Can I use my Fresh Perks Fuel Points in the BPme app?
No, Fresh Perks fuel points cannot be redeemed in the BPme app or combined with BPme Rewards. You can redeem fuel points at your Amoco or BP station by swiping your Fresh Perks rewards card or entering your phone number at the pump.
