Sebastian Schieberl

Board Member

Sebastian Schieberl graduated from the Berlin School of Economics and Law in 2000 with a degree in business administration. He began his professional career at Daimler AG, before moving to Tower International Inc. and Shell Deutschland Oil GmbH. 

 

He has been with bp since 2019. His focus is on strategic human resources, supporting transformation and reorganisation processes, and developing sustainable frameworks to strengthen competitiveness. 

 

In July 2025, Sebastian Schieberl was appointed to the Executive Board of BP Europa SE. There he is responsible for labour and social affairs. He also serves as Vice President People & Culture German Refining and is responsible for human resources at bp's German refineries. In addition, he is Managing Director and Director of Labour Relations at Ruhr Oel GmbH – BP Gelsenkirchen. 

 

Sebastian Schieberl is also a member of the Executive Board of the Westfälischer Arbeitgeberverband Chemie e.V. (Westphalian Chemical Industry Employers' Association).
